Drinkwater lost without Kante, King is, albeit a club legend, a championship player at best. Mendy isn't Kante's replacement and Amartey looks iffy at times (although he did ok when he came on). If we ever change formation and go to 3 in midfield we look even shorter there. Hopefully we've got a receipt for those BMW's and we can put it towards a new player!

After today's showing, this needs to happen before the window closes. RB, CB, CM (Kante replacement) and another striker. Danny Simpson was great last year but I always felt he was the one the opposition would try to exploit. He coped but a quality 1st RB would be good. A young up and coming CB would be good. Hugh was missing today and it showed. Although Kante IMO is irreplaceable, we need to try and find a 1st starter in the similar mould to him. Love Vardy, love Musa, love Okazaki but feel there all similar players. We need a better version of Ulloa to give us a plan B.

Carvalho - Closest thing we'er ever gonna get to Kante now Gueye is gone aswell. Giovinco - Surely the guy could be convinced to try something different under Claudio? If we want to show Ambition this window - Joe Hart.

lee7 Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Sissoko from Newcastle please. For me he is exactly what we require. A box to box midfielder capable of going past 2 or 3 players at a time but is also very good defensively.
