i wonder if a Fabregas with something to prove in what will eventually become a 4-2-3-1 be any good. He is def available on the cheap, Mata is probably available too as Mikitaryan will most likely be taking his spot.

A striker similar to Ulloa just better, and a defensive, ball winning CM.

it astounds me that people keep repeating that we need a defensive midfielder. We have 3 of those! I keep hearing this nonesense. We need a CM that can dictate tempo, drive us forward as a team, beat people with the dribble not another Mendy, Drinkwater, Amartey.

Some reports saying that Calum Chambers is 'surplus' at Arsenal. Would anybody here take him??

We are definitely short on numbers in midfield unless Inler is staying.  James still not ready and, as losing Mendy today showed, not a lot of options there. Mezeker mentioned Fabregas. Might be unrealistic, but.........

they are desperately trying to sign a defender with 2 of their key defenders out, why in the world would they sell him?

100% he mainly played rb for Southampton so would be a young defender that can actually play both roles unlike some of the players we keep trying out at rb

Everton used McCarthy as a right wingback in the opening match and subbed him for Lukaku in the first half this week. He may not be first choice anymore. Pretty good player but pretty similar to Drinkwater.

Sulè of Hoffenheim, 6 ft 5 German centre half and only 20 years old. Very similar to Huth.

Emre Can of Liverpool, seems to be out of favour with Jurgen Klopp and from what iv Seen of him he looks a very good player.

Anthony knockeart great shout also we need a ball winning midfielder to play alongside Drinkwater what about Stephen Davis from Southampton

He's more of a ball player mate. Usually operates on the wing or in CAM. Wouldn't be a ball winner. Good player though

Anthony Knockaert is a fvcking terrible shout, weve already sold him once, were about to play in the Champions League and you dont sign back players deemed surplus to requirements.

And dont bring up something like Pogba either.

after 2 rounds it is very clear we miss kante, but to find a player again like him very hard. what we do need is 2 ball playing midfielders, players who can hold the ball and create more for the front players. this should the bosses top priority, two sign 2 players A.S.A.P.

Sule is great for the future. As for Emre Can why do all of you people want to get a similar player to Drinkwater after we replaced Kante a box to box with essentially the same person as Drinkwater. Its all very strange.

Luan, Paredes and Dragovic = Top 6 finish and QF of CL.

Yes, because it's just that easy...

Apologies for the sarcasm, it's not personal - this is just becoming like one great big computer game.

The lad obviously feels those players are what we're lacking to have another successful season... Other people have other ideas, Football is all about opinions yours is obviously different but we won't no for sure as you've put no input into why you feel these players won't help take us to that level
