muzzyisalegend Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Don't suppose anyone has considered the possibility that he might actually see moving to arsenal as a fresh challenge? He won't be nailed on to start like he is here so will have to fight and maybe, just maybe, he might fancy the challenge of helping arsenal win their first league title in years? Yes I know the money will certainly be helping sway him but you can't blame him for that, he's no young fresh faced striker with years ahead of him after all.
Vacamion Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 All of you with City shirts with "Vardy" on it, if he leaves, are you going to change it to "Mardy" ?
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 People seriously arguing about Arsenal's silverware compared to ours?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 13 league titles >> 1 league title. Your point is what? Last 10 years mate, modern times... you know... times that actually have a bearing ... what we are saying is Arsenal recently haven't looked like winning a league title not in their history...
apple987 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I'm praying we dont pay him over 100k a week. That's nuts. And any new signings will demand the same
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I wouldn't trade the PL title for 10 FA Cups... Maybe not but Arsenal have won a PL title right?
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 13 league titles >> 1 league title. Your point is what? You are an agry little fellow aren't you? Angry at Vards, Angry at Mrs. Vards, angry at Leicester supporters.
foxfanazer Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 People seriously arguing about Arsenal's silverware compared to ours? Unbelievable isn't it!? Don't see any relevance it has to this move either
Wymsey Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Don't really care anymore. Been superb, but it's all about attitude and want to carry on playing for the team.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Maybe not but Arsenal have won a PL title right? Yes, but we are all talking recently... not when they had Henry and co ... over a decade ago
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Unbelievable isn't it!? Don't see any relevance it has to this move either It's bloody embarrassing
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Should we have a whip-round to get him to stay? Are you talking about Mrs.Vardy or cash?
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Yes, but we are all talking recently... not when they had Henry and co ... over a decade ago Ohh right so that must make my post void I suppose.
Koke Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Arsenal will be the biggest losers here. Signing him on 130/140k? a week on a 4 year deal would be madness, with their injury history and Vardy's age. We all love and appreciate Vards but for them wages we could replace him in time, no doubt. I fear that Wenger will play Vardy on the left like Roy does. In a Welbeck type of role. Not that we should care but still..

apple987 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Yes, but we are all talking recently... not when they had Henry and co ... over a decade ago And how did we look like ever winning the league before last season?
foxfanazer Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I'm at the point where I'm happy either way now to be honest. We'll be fine whatever happens
Fox92 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Last 10 years mate, modern times... you know... times that actually have a bearing ... what we are saying is Arsenal recently haven't looked like winning a league title not in their history... What are you on about. Look at the size of Arsenal and then look at the size of us. Who consistently finishes top four, who has more chance of winning stuff? We've won the league and suddenly some of you talk as if we're going to dominate the league forever more... Blackburn won the league in 95 and Shearer left in 96. Should he have not moved on then?
filbertstreet Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I fear that Wenger will play Vardy on the left like Roy does. In a Welbeck type of role. Not that we should care but still.. doubt it mate, he'll be injured all season
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 No question that he would be more happy, secure and his family more stable if he stayed with us. Whilst his rise to fame thanks to LCFC can not be denied you don't have to dig too deep to realise than his thinking has not always been rational.
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I hope this is resolved quickly so we all get back to normal because this is getting to people's head way too much
