Webbo Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Wouldn't say they've got more. Arsenal aren't a silverware winning club anymore - e. Apart from the 2 FA Cups in the last 3 years?
st albans fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I'm beginning to like Mrs vardy in a masochistic way. Now do I hang out at London Conley training ground entrance with my fearless flag and 'judas banner' or go to watch a dance festival in Watford? Suspect the dancers have this one (plus the missus has told me where I'm going - see, empathy with vards!)
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Course she is she's an attention seeker. Milking it but doesn't help when our fans are biting like fvck.
Koke Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It is unbelievable. Just because we've won the league some people seem to have lost common sense. Arsenal haven't even been relegated since they got promoted all those years ago ffs. This title win has clouded the view of some people. League titles - Arsenal 13-1 Leicester FA Cups - Arsenal 12-0 Leicester
The Doctor Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Arsenal are pretty much guaranteed a top four finish every season - we are not. It's not difficult to understand. If football reverted to how it was where only the winners of each division played in the European Cup then perhaps we'd see a different story but when Sky smack so much emphasis on 4th place winning a place in this great Champions League then of course big clubs, initially target the minimum which is 4th place. Top four doesn't win trophies, first wins trophies. Arsenal get top four consistently, but they're not a title winning club these days, the mentality to put up a proper challenge isn't there. If it were man city we were talking about fair enough, far more chance of winning trophies there, but under a specialist in failure? If he's moving for footballing reasons it's for regular CL football, not for silverware.
ImBlue Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Apart from the 2 FA Cups in the last 3 years? In the last 11
filbertstreet Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 She's loving this oh great, vardy's signing for mcdonalds fc
mozartfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Has Mega Bell End Lawro tipped us for relegation yet ? if we lose a 24 goal striker it can only be a matter of time before we hear this.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Correct! People saying ah she's only mentioned that it's a nice day is a load of tosh, she knows exactly what she's doing, and probably with a smirk on her face. Not doing herself any favours

He's at the England camp they would send their medical team up there with a shirt and photographer.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 This title win has clouded the view of some people. League titles - Arsenal 13-1 Leicester FA Cups - Arsenal 12-0 Leicester Title wins in the last ten years... 1 nil Leicester
smileysharad Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It's happening!! We're nearly at 100 pages! This is epic.
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 This title win has clouded the view of some people. League titles - Arsenal 13-1 Leicester FA Cups - Arsenal 12-0 Leicester Cups in the last 12 months Leicester 1 -0 Arsenal
katieakita Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It's nice to give the arrogant wanquers who support the big clubs a bit of stick while we have the chance, but does anyone really believe Arsenal have less chance of winning silverware than us? Judging by the abuse they get when they aren't winning their fans tbf
merlin1969 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Limpar33 @Limpar33 We should get Andrea Bocelli to sing when we unveil Vardy. 9:37 AM - 5 Jun 2016

midland_red Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Not sure what we should do as a club. Either offer him loads to keep him, and have every agent of all our players do the same thing as Vardy, or let him go and show we're not going to be pushovers. We should ask him what he really wants. If he wants shed loads more money, bright lights, with the aim of converting himself into a David Beckham like brand, that's all we need to know. Otherwise we should offer him an improvement - but not match Arsenal's offer. If he doesn't really want to be here, then we don't want him.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 They've won two FA Cups in three years. Believe it or not, football has been around longer than a year. 1 league title >>> 2 FA Cups
The Doctor Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Apart from the 2 FA Cups in the last 3 years? So they've won as many trophies as us in the last three years. Bully for them. Still the case that they've got a losers mentality - them bottling the league every March isn't coincidence.
bovril Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 As a footballer I love him. He's a non-nonsense, no-bollocks, gung-ho centre forward. As a person he's a gobby twat, and an arrogant one it seems, driven by his own self-interest above anything. If he goes he goes, he will still be a legend as his goals helped get us promoted and win the Premier League.
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 What does this club and forum do to us..I've gone from being gutted to excited at possible replacements to angry to accepting it happens and now I'm actually hoping he just signs for them and gets it over with!
J.Lisemore Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Arsenal will be the biggest losers here. Signing him on 130/140k? a week on a 4 year deal would be madness, with their injury history and Vardy's age. We all love and appreciate Vards but for them wages we could replace him in time, no doubt.
Fox92 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 1 league title >>> 2 FA Cups 13 league titles >> 1 league title. Your point is what?
