Are you an idiot. That's why I put it in bold and big, of course I know it's not true. Fvck me.

Don't believe everything a paper tells you.

This 100% , betting has been suspended because of the media, everyone has been placing huge bets this is nothing new. And it doesnt mean it is true

I agree, don't believe the papers. However, the bookies don't get it wrong very often. When it's a sure thing in the eyes of bookmakers, it's pretty much a sure thing.

I think your my new favourite foxes talk person lol.

If you are implying I contradicted myself, I didn't.

Trust me i would love nothing more than to be wrong, but this isnt a Sun newspaper rumour... This looks set.

Giroud wouldn't know for sure, he has been with France during this whole time

Apparently they have phones in France as well now.

So no then.

Is it not a little strange that Arsenal know he has a release clause and manage to trigger it straight away. I don't think we need conclusive evidence to make a strong inference that this hasnt come about without Vardy having something to do with it. You'd have to be an ostrich with your head in the sand to think otherwise.

Oh I see, so he will be the first to be contacted about it all.

No I was implying that you talk sense about not believing what's in the newspapers.

The majority on here take it for a certain what they write.

Maybe this started out as an attempt by vardy's agents to flush out biggest deal poss from us. However, once arsenal bit and vardy spoke with them (and wilshere), he became tempted. Maybe he didn't realise just how big their offer would be. Maybe he embarked on this whole thing with no intention of leaving us? sometimes stuff just happens that you didn't expect. If we really want to keep him then it's up to our guys to try and convince him he should stay.

Anyway, we have done our bit with the length of this thread.

I wonder if Vardy is ready for the selfie, hair, body obsessed players that are at Arsenal. I know that covers most footballers, but they're at another level. Itll be a big culture shock and I think he may sink.

i was agreeing with you, what a tool you are

Apologies then, it's because someone else thought I was saying I agree with Giroud and I thought you were agreeing with him.

Hopefully Vardy understands that the hate him and his Mrs are getting is because the idea of him leaving is so upsetting to a fanbase who genuinely appreciate his talents.  It's a shame we've had to offer him yet another new contract to try and convince him to stay mind.  I'm torn on what to think - going to wait and see how it turns out before committing to a final view.

As for bookies odds:  Did we really learn nothing about how this works after the manager hunt last season?

Bookies don't deal in truths, they deal in risk, there is probably a lot of money on Vardy moving after all this speculation and if he does they will get rinsed, that is why they have stopped betting to limit their risk if he does move.

Seeing as Arsenal has triggered his release clause, that is common knowledge, people have been lumping on Vardy to move because they don't see why he wouldn't. "Money talks, Arsenal are a bigger club and there is no loyalty left in football... etc"

We will see, but until it is official and there is a chance albeit small of him playing for us next season, I will not turn on him.

Ah right, yeah I know, it's unbelievable.

I'm more pissed off at it only being 20 million(15 if fleetwood get 25%)

Andy Carroll 30 mill,lallana 30 mill,

Why the hell did we only cap the release Claus at such a small amount when he got offered. A new contract in febuary when even then we were odds on for champs league at least,I think vardy owes it to us to give us another year,we were the only club willing to pay a million for him,we were the club which even after some poor season by vardy gave him a chance, the club that stood by him when he turns up drunk to training,

There's no loyalty nowadays

Could be a bluff, and it will work because I'm sure we are trying our best to keep him ...

Suarez...

Who mentioned being the first? If a big transfer was coming to your club wouldn't you be curious to find out more? He could have spoken to the club or maybe one of the Arsenal players with England.
