CockneyFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 it really does sound like his agent has whored him out to clubs, to force us to make a move to improve his contract. Surely it has worked & the club will give him a new contract. This. Whoever he signs a new deal with, they've both made huge dollar
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 target for top teams is top 4 each year to get CL. Anything else to win titles is great but they will always be top 4. They are a big club I'd have thought the target was to be champions for the "big" clubs. Arse supporters weren't happy with finishing second ........to us.
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Jamie will stay if this topic gets 100 pages Come on then Oz! Help me push it!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Not felt this sad since Momo Sylla left You have just opened up old wounds sad times
stefl14 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 But he's a lovely guy and will under no circumstances be a one season wonder if he stays I take it? If he stays, he's less likely to be a one season wonder because we'll play to his strengths. However, he'll always be a despicable chav. That judgement hasn't been arrived at due to this transfer believe me. Anybody logical can see it - just look at his damn mrs.

ithuriel Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Not felt this sad since Momo Sylla left DeVries was bigger
Webbo Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Depends how you post it mate. 1 league title in 1 season 0 league titles in 11 seasons However it suits you but a couple of FA cups wont blind me or any Arsenal fan from the 8 years they went winning nothing. They are underdogs for silverware these days. You've convinced me. We're a much bigger club than Arsenal.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Heskey leaving felt similar but I had the utmost respect for him... O'Neill, Izzet and Lennon too... Vardy hasn't gone about this the right way. However now I'm starting to come to terms with it, I do wish him the best... and Arsenal is a step up for him I accept that. He isn't going to top winning a league title here though...
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Think this thread will appear on that Armstrong & Osman TV programme at 5.15pm, BBC1.
jammie82uk Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 What I find funny is all the people saying Vardy shouldn't be insulted as if he's some Muhammad Ali esque legend. He isn't. He had one good season and that happened to come when a load of other players had a great season too. The common denominator is Ranieri, not ****ing Vardy. The guy is a chav bell-end and he can do one. While Kante and Mahrez look actual class, Vardy to me seems like a one season wonder candidate and I think if the system isn't right for him, which it won't be at arsenal, he won't do well. I assume you have only watched Us for the last 12 months to say he has only had 1 good season for us or on the windup
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 100 pages Only a matter of time now until he's pictured holding up a red jersey, and no it won't be our away kit.
blue army 1988 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Now daily mail, who apparently broke the story of Vardys move to Arsenal, have reported that we're offering him a new contract and there is no medical a going on at Arsenal today. I've said this over and over again in this thread and many more, don't believe what the papers say. I feel sorry for all you people who have been slagging him and his Mrs off. Maybe you should get a bit more knowledge before having a go!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I assume you have only watched Us for the last 12 months to say he has only had 1 good season for us or on the windup Vardy was great when we won the championship and influential to us staying up which is why he got the call from England. So anyone stating one season are clearly wrong

He's definitely going nowhere.
blue army 1988 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 There might be hope still... Or it was all a big media storm and none of it is true?
Brooksy Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Got a feeling he's gonna stay. This smacks of Pearsons fake sacking
JamesWelshFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Do I want him to leave NO. Do I want him to stay if he doesn't want to be here NO. Do I wish him well YES, I doubt we would have won the league without him. Sadly this is modern football. I hope he doesn't regret it from a footballing point of view. First name on team sheet here, plays week in week out, is loved. We have made him a millionaire, given him Champions League and propelled him to international recognition. I hope he doesn't end up warming the bench at Arsenal and wasting what should be the highlights of his career. Arsenal have killed the careers of the likes of Theo Walcott, it would be a shame. Stay Jamie, the money isn't everything.
