At Millwall last week I've never seen a player give it away so consistently. Can't pass more than 10 yards.

I've barely spoke about Mendy tbh. And I just don't blame Amartey for all our ills, that's different to overating him. We're in the bottom three because collectively we've been crap, and the manager has stuck by the crap players, we're not there solely because of Amartey, which you seem to think.
TheSomersetFox Posted 26 February 2017 Posted 26 February 2017 Amartey and Mendy aren't bad players; one of them was one of the highest rated players at Copenhagen at the age of 20 (who we saw, aren't a bad team), and the other was captaining his previous club at the age of 24, and I believe they finished 4th last season? They just can't play alongside eachother or with similar players who are also more defensively minded. Our squad and centre midfield is very unbalanced, but Amartey and Mendy for me really aren't bad players

(Why am I not surprised) Amartey, Mendy, King, Drinkwater....ALL have been pants. Dreadful. We've leaked goals one end, we've not made chances the other. We have one of the worst sides in the division INCLUDING one of the worst midfields. And it's why Vardy gets fewer chances than Kane. Which was my original point. If you want to argue this point, be my guest. Just cos I say it how it is, don't mean it's wrong. I just say it. Our midfield at this level is pants. It needs an overhaul or at least a complete reworking of how we set up.
