Bazly Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 A couple of important dates for the calendar: Fixture release date - 15th June @ 9am FA Community Shield - 6th or 7th August (Not yet posted on the Wembley site) Season Start 13th August Leicester City first title defence campaign and first Champions League campaign. The last Community (then Charity) shield appearance was in 1971 when Leicester City beat Liverpool 1 -0. It should be recalled that in 1971, Arsenal were the League Champions but had a fixture clash with the Charity Shield date so Leicester as the Second Division winners stood in and played Liverpool who came 2nd to the double winners of Arsenal.
Bazly Posted 12 May 2016 Author Posted 12 May 2016 Thought Community Shield was 7th Aug? There are sites saying the 6th but it was on Sunday last year so it may well be the 7th. It hasn't made the Wembley site events list yet but it'll definitely be one or the other.
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Ranieri out if we don't win itThis! We have standards to keep at this club

burnleyfan Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Oh ffs not again! only joking Congratulations We'll certainly give you a good game with Andre up front and Joey pulling the strings in midfield!
Vacamion Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Same wish as last year Primarily avoid relegation, we'd never live it down. Try and finish top 10 and give the big clubs an occasional bloody nose, do well in the cups. All while winning the Champions League...
Stadt Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 On paper it's going to be a lot better quality next season, obviously Man City under Pep will be improve if they overhaul their squad, Chelsea will be better, you'd expect Liverpool to improve significantly, United would be a completely different proposition if Mourinho was to replace LVG, Spurs have shown they're a very good young side, maybe Wenger will pull his finger out and then there's us too, we've shown we're capable of beating anyone and got the experience of winning the title

Foxxed Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Chelsea, Man City and perhaps United should all have better seasons. We'll have to actually rotate the squad this time. And I suspect we'll prioritise the champions league if we look set for 40 league points. We should have a stronger starting 11, providing no one leaves, since we should see more of Gray and we may get another 15+ goalscorer alongside Vardy. Just want 40 in the league and best showing possible in Europe. One game at a time innit.

kushiro Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Unless I'm missing something, what has he done to merit this? Could be the 15 points in 19 games. But then it still looks like an over-reaction. Maybe there's something else going on.
