themightyfin Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Where will the Champions of England finish in 2016/17? How will we do in cups? Europe? I'll go first Finish 5th FA cup 1/4 final Really not sure about Europe! Best chance of "Doing a Leicester" = Sunderland or Saints
Devonfox1884 Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League: 6th Capital one: 4th round Fa cup: Semi-final Champions league: Round of 16
Hollism Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League 4th League Cup 4th round Champions League: First knockout round FA cup: winners
Fox92 Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 There's no reason why we can't retain it? If we've won the league once we can do it again? Seriously! Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool (I think they'll be strong under Klopp) all have to rebuild. Arsenal and Manchester United will need new players. Manchester United might even be looking into getting a new manager... There's only us, Spurs, West Ham and Southampton that don't have to totally rebuild. The pressure is totally on Manchester City as Guardiola is totally expected to win trophies straight away. We'll be written off (as such) and told we can't win the league but why not.
Amin Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League - 8th League Cup - Out in the first round we participate in FA Cup - 5th round Champions League - Quarter finals
copunk Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 I honestly think we will challenge again for the title, we may not win it but we will be there or there abouts, last 16 of champs league and hopefully a nice FA cup or league cup run, happy days
Ian W LCFC Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League: 6th FA Cup: Winners! League Cup: Quarters Champions League: Absolutely no idea! Could we get more of an official poll when we've made a few signings and the season is about to get underway?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 I keep thinking "5th/6th in league" but who are the teams who are going to finish above us? Who knows how Chelsea will be? Will Wenger finally go? Will Spurs sell Kane/Alli when offered £50m? Are Man City all that? So many questions If we can keep hold of Mahrez and Kante I'm going to say third, but win the FA Cup. God knows about the Champions League...
Tinder_Fawx Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Top 6, if we keep our squad and/or find people that fit well in the team effort that we all made this season. I'd be more than delighted if we won the FA cup!
DennisNedry Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 We can't really predict these things until we know the squad for next season, we know our CL group etc. But for now: League: 7th CL: Group Stages FA Cup: 5th Round League Cup: Quarters
LCFC FOX Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League 9th CS: winners League cup: knocked out 4th round FA Cup: Quarter final Champions league: quarter final
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League: 3rd - but will least defeats FA Cup: Last 16 League Cup: QF Champions League: Final
foxes161 Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Can't really answer this till we know what players we add or lose
Thracian Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Relegated - it means anything better will be a cause for celebration!
Aeropars Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Quite frankly, i'm disgusted at the people predicting anything less than 3rd. We won the league on merit. If we keep our players and add further quality we should be looking to retain the title! We already have the advantage of having an established squad which doesn't need messing with too much unlike the so called big hitters in this league. Not one team has come even close to matching us! If we do not retain champions league football next season i will consider it a failure. We have built a very solid foundation so it would be criminal not to build on it. If a company has a massive surge in profits during one financial year, they don't set targets for the following year to avoid bankruptcy. They alter their targets to build on the previous year which is exactly what Leicester City should be doing.
Benguin Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 League 1st League cup winners Fa cup winners Champions league winners Team most likely to do a leicester: Leicester
Stan Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 Serious question for those of you going for 6th place or below; which teams are going to finish above us??
AyewJoking Posted 16 May 2016 Posted 16 May 2016 I think we'll win the league again although this time we will be chasing rather than sitting at the top. early exits from both domestic cups and make the first knock out phase of the champions league.
