Simmsy Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Apologies if it's a repeat post, mods please delete if so. Just seen on Sky Sports app (sorry for lack of link) that they believe Walsh and Shakespeare have signed new contracts until 2018. Excellent news if true! A vital part of our success.

crisp packet Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Good news, now let's get other squad members renewed..
Master Fox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Back to back league titles and Champions League winners with a cheeky FA cup here we come!
dylanlegend Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 I'm sure they've signed new contacts about 300 times already this season
jmono84 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 You can thank me for this... I was shouting at walshy when he was on top deck of bus telling him to sign new contract whilst holding an imaginary pen and contract... He gave me a wink and thumbs up suggesting he will be... To be honest I thought he had already signed new contract
foxy boxing Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Great news, I hope walshy can find us a few more gems
GloverFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Yes, really fantastic news for the whole club .... Very happy about this
Vlad the Fox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Geoff Peters interviewed Walsh on the pitch after everton and asked him if he was staying, his reply was '100% yes, I'm not going anywhere'. It's on the official lcfc podcast, it's a great listen with the trophy presentation and laps of honour with interviews.
shade Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Why only 2 years? because after we've won the champions league twice they'll want to renegotiate a new one surely?
Vlad the Fox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Why only 2 years? Does that bring it in line with Ranieri's? Though aren't we offering him a new contract? because after we've won the champions league twice they'll want to renegotiate a new one surely? Best answer.
Deucalion Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Maybe they'll want to pursue their own management careers? Would've expected 3 or 4, that's all.
MPH Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Maybe they'll want to pursue their own management careers? Would've expected 3 or 4, that's all. It might be a contract extension to the ones they already have. IE 2 more years on top of the season ahead.....
Great Boos Up Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Phew! I bet they have been courted by many clubs.
TheSomersetFox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 I'd like to think that Shakespeare is being groomed to be Ranieri's successor. Loved listening to some of his recent interviews, seems to hold the ideal 'footballing values' that we've built ourselves upon, and i'm sure he'll learn a hell of a lot from Ranieri tactically.
