MC Prussian Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 We have Shinji for work ethic though. Immobile hasn't been in goal scoring form for about 3 years now. We've had other players written off either before or straight after they joined the club, so that means little to nothing. Either it works or it doesn't and in our scouting department we trust...
ST20 Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Here is the article linking us to him http://www.calciomercato.it/news/383016/calciomercato-torino-futuro-al-leicester-per-immobile.html
Finnegan Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Basically, the Italian press really want us to sign some Italian players?
Bunyip Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 From what I gather, he criticised many things at Dortmund, not just Klopp: The lack of support or social interactions from his teammates, the lack of support from the club (in terms of helping to adapt to the new surroundings, learning the language), Klopp's training methods and the standard of play in Germany in general. All those accusations were made in El País last autumn and we don't know how much of it got lost in translation and how one-sided the criticism was really meant to be. He was right about klopp though.
lgfualol Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Apparently he organised a dinner party for him and his team-mates at Dortmund and nobody bothered to show. Makes me feel bad for him, gerrim in
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 We're all about the pace (no treble), can't have anyone immobile

Lestoh Posted 1 June 2016 Author Posted 1 June 2016 Apparently he organised a dinner party for him and his team-mates at Dortmund and nobody bothered to show. Makes me feel bad for him, gerrim in From what I gather, he was having a light-hearted interview where he was explaining the difference in culture between Italy and Germany. He joked Germans were cold, saying HE hadn't been invited to any dinner parties. No need for the pity train lads, he's just not as popular as he thought
Merging Cultures Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 We're all about the pace (no treble), can't have anyone immobile That was so bad, it was good. Please make some sort of gif about it.

Sionnach gorm Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Good player with great potential. Seems he is going back to Seville, but it seems we have contacted Seville about him. 26 and a nose for the goal. I'd take him.
dbtcity Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Looked quality since coming on for Italy, very busy player, would be a bargain if we snapped him up for the quoted price
AjcW Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Any egg on anyone's face? Looks ****ing quality. Pace as well. Really like him. And can we kidnap Candreva too?
sphericalfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Might be expensive if he now has a good tournament.

jayfox26 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Any egg on anyone's face? Looks ****ing quality. Pace as well. Really like him. And can we kidnap Candreva too?Candreva is top quality as is Bonucci. That pass by Bonucci for the goal was outrageous! No centre half should be able to pick a pass that good! And the touch and finish was equally good!Ps thought I should stay on topic and add that Immobile looked good when he came on
Guest Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I thought he looked quite poor yesterday other than the 1 good run. I'll take the Italian CB and Buffon.
Sionnach gorm Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I thought he looked quite poor yesterday other than the 1 good run. I'll take the Italian CB and Buffon. Well, the good run was the run for the goal (I'm assuming you mean)...but he had others...not a selfish player and fast.
Mint_Fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Honestly believe some are reticent about him purely because of his name.....psychosomatic reaction....he's 'Immobile' ! Actually an adept, canny hard working forward...Would fit our style like a glove ! completely agree think he'd compliment Vardy well and be decent cover for him.
Finnegan Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 I know it was tenuous non rumour but of all the players mentioned in here, Immobile would be my favourite signing. Not sure what really went wrong at Dortmund but he'd be brilliant here with Ranieri and Vardy. Vardy, Immobile, Mahrez and Schlupp running at teams with Kante backing up. Jesus christ.
