StanSP Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 what is the point in sending him off? you can't let that go unpunished just cos it's a friendly . Otherwise you'll get all kinds of challenges going flying in looking to injure opponents
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Fair play to the ref - easily could have gone with a yellow, but that is quite clearly a reckless challenge.
Brooksy Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 The game's actually gonna get worse if thats even possible
AKCJ Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 I'm torn, that was fecking horrendous... But on the flip side it helps neither team. exactly. it's a completely bizzarre tackle but can't they just enforce a substitution or something? This is now a complete waste of time.
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Rather play 11 because it will make this formation look better than it is. That said, the tackle was a disgrace. Credit to Kane for getting up and getting on with it. Imagine Pele's reaction. He'd be rolling down the pitch.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Oh no, that knock to the head has left Kane with his mouth constantly open!
one F in Fox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 That's GBH if you did it on the high street Yeah, that's likely!
AKCJ Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Oh no, that knock to the head has left Kane with his mouth constantly open! hahahahaha
The Doctor Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Fair play to the ref - easily could have gone with a yellow, but that is quite clearly a reckless challenge. He's gone and nearly booted him in the face, while kane was still stood up straight. No idea how he gets away with a yellow from any ref
Babylon Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 exactly. it's a completely bizzarre tackle but can't they just enforce a substitution or something? This is now a complete waste of time. Ref probably being assessed and has no room for common sense stuff like that.
Benguin Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Maybe that kick will fix his brain and he won't talk like a dribbling twat
thebartonfox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 This game is doing an excellent job of dampening any lingering pre tournament expectations anyone may have.
Raw Dykes Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Oh no, that knock to the head has left Kane with his mouth constantly open!
GaelicFox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Yeah, that's likely! Hummm I have seen plenty of Cantona style Kickers on the taxi rank in town
sdb Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 This is genuinely embarrassing. 2 in form strikers basically being played as defensive wingers who don't have to track back, with Rooney in a sort of false number 10 position? What the hell is Hodgson thinking?! I know he's never been a top, top manager but this is clueless stuff.
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Rooney is supposed to be looking to provide service to Kane and Vardy and yet is being given all the chances to score (and ****ing them up). Roy needs to get a grip and tell him to drop back. Infuriating to watch.
Raw Dykes Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Maybe that kick will fix his brain and he won't talk like a dribbling twat You would have thought he could afford a decent speech therapist so he doesn't sound like John Merrick.
Dodgy Bob Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Abysmal system, this. Not only is Vardy out wide, but Kane is as well, leaving Rooney as a central striker, but he's way too deep, leaving us with no strikers. The midfield isn't clicking either. I'm still not even sure what shape the midfield is supposed to be in because Alli keeps ending up in a forward wide left position while Milner is just ambling around the centre. It's just so, so poor, in every way. Roy has made a mess of this to an extent that surprises even me as someone who thinks that he's one of the worst managers in professional football.
