Wonder who could have been chosen to fill that space... Even Drinkwater would look poor in this. The tip of a diamond is supposed to make a three in midfield when defending. It's also a lot more subtle in forward movements, rather than just stand there.

Wonder who could have been chosen to fill that space... There is little forward progression. Vardy made a run forward and Rooney passed it backwards. They just don't want be seen to give the ball away, so just pass it back and forth. It's a shame Milner didn't get that memo though!
