CosbehFox Posted 2 December 2016 Posted 2 December 2016 Eastleigh backed by big money. Barnet arguably a larger club but not by much.
StanSP Posted 2 December 2016 Posted 2 December 2016 been looking out for Brackley's results recently as my best mate's brother plays in goal for them. They're in the 2nd round of the FA Cup having beaten Gillingham in the first round.
CosbehFox Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Hinckley beat Quorn in the Vase and now have a home tie against Berkhamsted of South Midlands Premier

CosbehFox Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Just noticed Shepshed have made it this far too - Ely City away
Izzy Posted 6 December 2016 Posted 6 December 2016 No idea if this is the right thread, but watch this penalty by Lee Trundle - fookin wonderful http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38220790

StanSP Posted 6 December 2016 Posted 6 December 2016 Brackley knocked out of the cup with a 1-0 loss to Blackpool
Wymsey Posted 6 December 2016 Posted 6 December 2016 Pleased for Lincoln. Want them to go up. Never been but heard many living that way mention how well-run and close knit the club has been.

Lee Cox, Shane Byrne, Ellis Myles. Gaz Dean is a good defender at that level also, captained Nuneaton from a young age.
Leicesterpool Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Former Leicester man and the new nuneaton boro manager Tommy Wright secured a surprise 5-1 win away at FC United in the Fa Trophy! nine goals in two games! unbelievable what a change since the new guy as came. Next up Stocksbridge Park Steels Jamie Vardy's old club!
Tuna Posted 9 December 2016 Posted 9 December 2016 Adam Murray appointed Boston United manager. Very interesting appointment as by all accounts he was very highly rated at Mansfield before quitting this season.
Tuna Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 Lincoln's opponents in the Trophy - Shaw Lane - have been disqualified from the competition and replaced by the team they beat in the previous round, Nantwich Town. The reason for the disqualification? The FA cocking up paperwork regarding a Shaw Lane player who ended up playing whilst suspended (The FA mixing up the records of 2 players with the same name). Ridiculous!

Ridiculous! Lincoln are getting messed about with this. Original match postponed, supposed to be playing Nantwich tomorrow and that has been postponed as Shaw lane have appealed the decision.
Tuna Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 I see Martin Allen has now signed Hoyte and Togwell from Barnet, can see him walking back into the hive with a spanner for the kitchen sink in a few weeks time!
isaidno Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Lincoln beat Tranmere in the top of the table clash
LcFc_Smiv Posted 26 December 2016 Author Posted 26 December 2016 A 1-1 draw away at Boston for Gainsborough, I'll take that on Boxing Day!
Leicesterpool Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Boro have been fantastic recently, beat local rivals Tamworth yesterday away 2-1! that's four wins out of four for the new gaffer. Fantastic, plus a good following yesterday 333 travelled from Nuneaton not bad for a non league team probably better than some football league clubs.
Tuna Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Daft result for Lincoln against Guiseley yesterday. Anyway here is a festive funny from a local game yesterday between Spalding and Lincoln United (Watch from 2:38)!
isaidno Posted 1 January 2017 Posted 1 January 2017 went to Lincoln vs Guiseley today. Lincoln back top of the league. Guiseley had 1 player sent off for diving, 1 for dissent , and the manager and assistant sent off. Forest Green drew 5-5 against Torquay.
CosbehFox Posted 3 January 2017 Posted 3 January 2017 The title race in Hinckley's league (low level admittedly) is compelling, still no clearer who will go up.
Guest Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Has any non-league club got a better song than halifax town's 70's classic?
StanSP Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 very sick thing to say tbf. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38507682
The People's Hero Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Maidstone sinking down the table. Don't worry tho lads. We got this.
