It's good going to Wembley but the actual match will be extremely dull. It always is. Its just a friendly

Not with leicester playing

These are not going to be cheap I bet £100 onwards you watch

I can tell you thats bollocks. I was at the league cup final this year with tickets starting at £33 on the lowest tier behind the goal.

You having a laugh, the FA Cup semi final was £50 quid lower tier behind goal for Everton.

That's the fa cup though

Yeah an you think the fa are gonna charge double that? not a chance, £35 quid would be my guess.

No, the post i quoted, mentioned a ton upwards, I might take the fact he suggested he'd bet! lol

The tickets last year were £20 for the lowest tier, up to £45 for the highest tier

We'll get about 25,000 tickets

By the looks of it the tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders and gold members at the same time, and will be dependent on away games that you've been to in the past two seasons. They'll be limited to one per registered member / season ticket holder. They aren't expected to reach general sale

I only just realised our only other appearance in this 'competition' was by default, not through winning the top division or the FA Cup (that one's obvious). Arsenal won the double but went on a pre-season tour in 1971 so couldn't play in the Community Shield. So Liverpool (FA Cup runners up) played us instead.

That's right, and I was there. Steve Whiteworth scored the only goal of the game, for us.

It was not called the Community Shield in those days, but the F A Charity Shield.

No chance. No point in having a ST priority system if this happens.

Yup total crap. Would never be sold like that.

It's likely they will be sold as away tickets. The website crashes with 2k trying to use it. As if they are gonna allow 23k season ticket holders plus memebers to attempt to log in at the same time.

There will be more tickets available than season ticket holders so I doubt it would cause a meltdown.

I can read thanks. My point was if every season ticket holder who wants a ticket is guaranteed to get one there isn't going to be a mad rush the second they go on sale.

There will be as everyone will want lower tier and cheaper tickets. Just a fact of life.

I still reckon they will sell according to away points to stagger sales.

I don't want the cheap seats.

You're right though, the only way is on the away priority system.

Just a feeling. Like I say it staggers the buying.

I wouldn't want to be top tier if I'm honest hoping towards rear of lower behind goal if poss.

Back of level 5 will be the cheaper seats, behind goal level 1 is where I'm heading.

Surely it will be like any other away game regarding selling criteria, as that's what it is, an away game.

I might have got this slightly wrong at the time, it looks like they are going to season ticket holders first, but it's being done on an away loyalty points system from last season and possibly the season before

I've been to watch Torquay play there and been longing for the chance to see us there ever since.

So buzzing for this. Hotels booked for sat and Sunday night. Train down sat and back Monday.

Sunday is gonna be amazing. Can't wait to meet up with all my mates and get on the beers.
