IainHumewasalright Posted 29 June 2016 Posted 29 June 2016 Today's Leicester Mercury have noted that Brazilian based reporter Pedro Espinosa has tweeted that both Leicester and Liverpool are interested in signing the player Luan from Gremio.Luan is being reported as one of the hottest prospects in the Brazilian league right now with 5 goals and an assist from 10 league games playing as a ST, CAM or RWHere is a report on him from earlier on in the season A fleet-footed forward capable of playing through the middle or out wide, Luan came out of his shell when Roger Machado replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari last season and has since established himself as one of the division's most dangerous attackers. He may be just as happy setting up goals as scoring them – only four players grabbed more assists than his 7 last season – but there is a coolness to his finishing that suggests he can become a prolific marksman. His brace against Atlético Mineiro said it all: two cool finishes, one off each foot, one at the end of a passing move, the other after a swift counter. His importance to Grêmio is obvious: no Tricolor player comes close to his 3.5 shots per game, while his willingness to dribble (1.6 per game) and eye for a through ball (2.5 key passes per game) make him an all-round threat in the final third. Remember the name.
Gerard Posted 29 June 2016 Posted 29 June 2016 Here is his Fifa 16 card and he looks quite quick. Some of the comments from Brazilians say he's one of the best players in their league. http://www.futhead.com/16/players/15658/luan/
Vindaloo FOX Posted 29 June 2016 Posted 29 June 2016 I spent 6 months in Rio and watched a lot of Brazilian football, its pretty awful to watch but this kid did stand out. He has plenty of speed, very skillful and still very young. If i can remember rightly he was picked in the Brazilian team of the year. him and Gustavo Scarpa are the future of Brazilian football.

mozartfox Posted 30 June 2016 Posted 30 June 2016 surely his middle name isn't "from"?!?!?! Could be. Remember that twat that played for Celtic a few years back 'Vennagoor of Hesselink'. Not uncommon to names like that here in Austria and in Germany. Luan Von Gremio - very impressive.
