BirminghamFox Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 FFS! I have a wedding to go to on Saturday 20th August and was sure the game would be moved to the Sunday, I even could have made both if the game was the 12.30 KO, My wife will have to go to it without me I've got the same issue but 26th November Wedding in Liverpool....if the game stays on the Saturday I've told her she'll have to go on her own
goose2010 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 We've just won the league, we are the best team in the country! Obviously from a fans point of view we play the most exciting football in the league but there's been a lot of rival clubs fans also suggest the same. Just think with how much of a crazy season it was last year other teams should be having more broadcasting - you look at some of the games with the 'big teams' are barely even attractive to watch as a neutral. Without looking at the fixtures for some of those games I can bet there are better fixtures but it's just a laziness to just pick the same teams Its not just the English market they consider though, people around the world are interested in the 'bigger' games.
EGBFitness Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Haha people moan when we are on sky too much, Now people moaning we aren't on enough. I've never moaned city being on TV, it's good for the club financially, for fans who are unable to get to games and to reach out to neutrals. Only thing I don't agree with TV games is when they change the games to ridiculous times for fans or announce the games late for fans like the back end of last season
adam Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Happy with that. Monday's are a complete no go for me this season .Who has the Monday fixture is it bt or sky?
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Happy with that. Monday's are a complete no go for me this season .Who has the Monday fixture is it bt or sky? Normally it's sky. MNF. Just double checked, yep looks like it's SKY as they have already announced games for Monday nights.
EGBFitness Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Its not just the English market they consider though, people around the world are interested in the 'bigger' games. Sky's viewings isn't for the rest of the world, only for the UK. They have the rights to pick the games they want and work with the Premier League to move fixtures because of the U.K. 3pm showing ban. International TV channels can show what they like from the fixtures given to them - a lot of foreign countries will have a 3/4 channels available to watch games with some available to stream online. I know I'm going to think this more being a city fan but the hype around our club is mental at the minute! We are arguably the most talked about premier league club at the minute, you'd think with all the interest at the minute would mean more TV games initially - if after the first 2 months of games we look shit and getting no results then they don't have to announce as many games when they do the next set of games for Oct-Dec
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Go on.. What are they like? 20 minutes to run 2 miles back to lime street unless you go to rugby then you can get a later train but gets into rugby at 23:30
promised land Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Now I'm no big fan of Sky but for the major PL broadcaster to only be showing the defending champions twice in the first two months of the season is taking the mickey a bit. West Ham are on four times FFS. The irony.
Lcfc83 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 FFS! I have a wedding to go to on Saturday 20th August and was sure the game would be moved to the Sunday, I even could have made both if the game was the 12.30 KO, My wife will have to go to it without me Pm ya

FLAN Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Selfishly hoping they move Arsenal at home to Sunday 4pm or even Monday as going to see Morrissey on the Saturday Wanted to do the same. Bad luck Mozza
Dan Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Could've been a lot worse. Inevitable really as champions that we were going to have our first game moved and also consider the other three are against the three biggest clubs in the country. It won't continue at this rate. All Saturday too. 12:30 for Hull away is crap though.

Guest seanfox778 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Friday night football will be pants. Don't they try this sort of thing every 10 years or so? It never works.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Is Southampton at home definitely being moved to the Sunday because of their Europa League game?
AKCJ Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Have you got mixed up or have Sky and BT really switched their schedules this season? I thought BT had the lunchtime kickoffs and Sky had the evening games.

Papasmurf Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Friday night football will be pants. Don't they try this sort of thing every 10 years or so? It never works. I can't wait for a Friday night home game.
EGBFitness Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Friday night football will be pants. Don't they try this sort of thing every 10 years or so? It never works. Think the same too. Football league night Friday's was always a rush after finishing work and also drags the weekend out (in a bad way)
Guest seanfox778 Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Think the same too. Football league night Friday's was always a rush after finishing work and also drags the weekend out (in a bad way) I know what you mean, if you get a bad result it ruins the whole weekend, remember that Millwall home game where Morgan got sent off after 3 mins? That might've actually been a Thursday but still made for a crap weekend. I'm also not a fan of waking up on a Saturday with a full round of fixtures except us, feels like we're missing out haha.
jammie82uk Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 Every champions league game will be on bt At least one of our games will be Free to air as well
ScouseFox Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 the arsenal move is quite good. rest don't really affect me much. doubt anyone is that affected by away kick offs moving a few hours this far in advance.
RowlattsFox Posted 7 July 2016 Author Posted 7 July 2016 Hoping to get a ticket for Liverpool this year so the TV move may give me a slightly better chance. We are always going to be on TV quite a bit early doors to see if we can continue to challenge.
daddylonglegs Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 The crack of dawn?! It's two hours away, at worst. shiiiiit yeah i forgot every leicester fan in the world lives in Leicester. think
