Every player has a price as I said earlier. So what would you sell Schlupp for?

sell him for 12m and have a clause of a buy back for 15m, if his good its like a loan. Job done

For me, Schlupp is a player who has had massive potential for ever.

Isn't it about time for that potential to be realised?  And if it has, and he isn't good enough for a spot in our first 11, then isn't it better for him to go play somewhere else?

I wouldn't sell him because he gives us something that we don't have. So I disagree that every player has a price. If we had an upgrade on him signed - so the pace, stamina and strength with a better shot then I'd listen to offers but we haven't and probably never will so the only time I'd sell him (or any other player that we don't have an upgrade for) is during the final year of their contract when they've made it clear they won't sign a new one. We are making contracts not worth the paper they are written on from the pov of the club.

He's still young. he has made giant steps and he's played in more than half of the games he has been fit to play in.

£50m? £100m? Everyone has a price, especially a player that will not start a game for us this season.

Not sure if you have a problem reading. NO, everyone doesn't have a price in the new media crazy payout era. We don't need to sell. You sell players that you haven't upgraded and you move downwards and possibly out of the premier league payday scenario.

Our owners alledgedly said CR can spend whatever he wants which also means he doesn't have to sell anyone.

Still repeat your false phrase again if you feel you need to.

I think I will repeat the fact that you wouldn't accept £100m for Schlupp. Fair enough. You obviously don't have any faith in our recruitment team finding a better 4th choice replacement.

Just because he isn't first choice doesn't make him significantly less important, we need people on the bench that can change the course of a game. Losing him means we have one less of those.

Not now Walsh has gone, definitely not.

He was our biggest loss this summer, not Kante.

Well once they have found a better replacement then we can sell him - if it was so easy for him wouldn't they do that before they sold him? We don't need his sale money in order to buy. And how you've made him 4th replacement is amazing. you are aware he made 24 appearances for the prem league champions last season don't you - and that would have been more was he not injured for a considerable time.

People calling him a 4th replacement, could you tell me which position and who the 4 people above him are for that position? We must be incredible to have a position 5 deep when WBA want him to start.

LM- Albrighton/ Gray, Kapustka, Schlupp.

LB- Fuchs, Chilwell, Schlupp

4th choice. You knew what I meant. Ok 3rd choice replacement let's call it.

But not one of those players offer what Jeff brings do they?

He's faster than everyone of them, stronger than everyone of them, shwon he's more capable of scoring than anyone of them.

When we want pace, strength and a direct attacker with the possibility and workrate to get back and defend too I'll take Jeff over all five of them.

I think Ranieri see's Musa covering for Schlupp. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if we signed Brady now too.

Musa is probably the closest to a Schlupp replacement/upgrade. I think he may turn into a Vardy upgrade though.

Brady would be a great disappointment for me. Better suited to the championship imo.

I don't disagree with you. I would like him to stay. However, if he wants lo leave then I would let him go for a more than fair £12m. Obviously he would need replacing and I'm sure we would do.

Musa cost £16m and Gray & Kapustka a lot less. There are players out there that we could buy with that money that would challenge for a first team spot. Not just be a player from the bench to help us in certain situations.

lots of people automatically assuming the new polish kid is better than Jeff, let's actually see him perform in the premier league before judging.

so far his highlight reel consists of looking good against polish league opposition and Northern Ireland.

kramaric looked better at a far higher level on his showreel yet failed to make the grade here.

I'm not assuming he's better. I am assuming though that he is expected to be better by the people that bought him.

Whether that turns out to be the case, we will see. Jeff is certainly not irreplaceable though.

Gray is also a talent and shows great potential, but I think Schlupp offers us a directness that others don't.

its a bit like sending on a speeding train when the opposition starts to tire, agreed his end product isn't the best, but he makes things happen.

claudio was talking about the need to create space on the flanks to draw out the central defenders.

i think Schlupp on as a sub would have done this.

If Schlupp is wanting 1st team football why do you think someone better than him would be happy being 4th choice?

Like I said, a new player could maybe challenge for the first team. They would probably have to accept that wouldn't happen straight away. Like Gray, Kapustka and Amartey have done.
