It's a YouTube video of just his best bits, compile one of all the great positions he gets into and wastes, one on ones blazed out of the stadium etc and it'll paint another picture.

His pace gives you an out ball, he's great at gaining you ground and his link up play is alright. He's always lacked composure and that's what causes issues when he gets final third.

And the same could be said about everyone. Even Messi.

ha! I just managed to compare Schluup favourably with Messi.

I'd like us to keep him but I have to admit that's mainly for sentimental reasons. If it was left to me we'd still have Lloyd and Nuge lol

Is a shame and yes I love all three of those players, but sentiments have to take a back seat I am afraid.  Just hope we have another couple of signings lined up with RDL gone too.  Will be a sad day when the last of the title winning squad leaves.

Just don't sell King, that's just too much!

I agree though that it shouldn't be a deciding factor in any transfer dealings. Still think his unpredictability makes him a strangely dangerous player

Jeff is a powerful runner and probably the most athletic player at the club.  He is effective at both ends of the pitch, which is a rare commodity these days.  Granted, he isn't the sharpest tool in the box, but for the type of football we play, (where a high level of fitness, pace, directness & power is needed) he ticks all the boxes. He seems to divide opinion, but i would most definitely keep him.

Those goals kinda go against all the 'no end product' comments.

lower tiers=/= premier league. i can get you a league 1's 20 goals a season striker that will struggle to net 4 in the prem.

West Brom have just secured a win against us. Schluup hatttrick. He'll terrorize Simpson.

He will get a hattrick when he plays us.. but, it will be FOR us

With coaching and patience he could be so much better. Loan him for the season and bring him back.

to be fair people saying he will be missed for the last 30mins of the game.. He was out for like 3 months last year and we didn't exactly miss him then.

but id rather have him as an option , he should stay

What annoys me about this situation, is West Brom or any other team won't be able to appreciate schlupp like we do. We love him for being absolutely clueless and skying balls into row z, other clubs fans will probably get on his back for his brainless antics

A lot of the posts being critical of Schlupp are right, his technical ability is poor, he lacks composure and makes some poor decisions.

However he reminds me a lot of Dyer, and as we know for all Mahrez does for City sometimes a direct option of the 'Dyer esque' to stretch and pierce defences with raw pace is what we need. And in fairness to Jeff he has gradually improved, can cover at left back - I would say he's positives outweigh his shortfalls.

If he personally want's to leave then i'd understand his reasoning being down the pecking order, but we need players 100% wanting to play for City.

Would massively miss Jeff in the squad, almost irreplaceable for a player that can quite comfortably play LB, LW and sometimes a ST, you don't often find multi talented players like Schlupp who is more often than not an asset to the team.

The only victors in his transfer would be whoever buys him, and they'll be very smart to take him from us.

We would have looked better with his direct powerful attacking in that second half today. If he wasn't going to WBA he would have been on the bench and he would have come on.

Must keep.

This is exactly my thoughts and FIF is spot on again. When we needed an impact today, Schlupp was the man to do that, and yet we're looking to sell him. I'm convinced he would of done well today.

We haven't a big enough squad to sell Jeff.

Don't sell City

we need more players coming in still

defence definately needs improving

midfield also

and dare I say it a Silimani type player up front as an option wouldn't go amiss
