So singing songs that glorified the IRA are amazing because they're singing non stop for 90 minutes? This ultra shite is embarrassing I.e Palace. It's not what English football is about. We can create a atmosphere without looking like we are having a fit.

Leicester create a good atmosphere without having to become Ultra fanboys. The Union Filbert spirt group are a clique that needs stomping out. They won't join in with other people starting chants because they think their above that. They their wannabe ultra group is better then the rest of us and that's not the case. I don't wanna jump up and down and wave a flag like a nutcase for 90 minutes. I'd rather sing our songs and watch the match. They're not even there for the game, don't care about if we win or lose.

It's a shame you couldn't be any further from the truth regards the group.

Why the hell people want to argue about a set of fans what wanna create atmosphere? They are architects of a few chants we use now and they are in line with traditional support. They alongside other fans have created a great atmosphere down Filbo

No one is asking you to jump up and down & wave a flag like a 'nutcase' for 90 minutes. But some people want to do that. Why is that a problem?

Nice to see such a big support up from Leicester for a friendly match. Good game and nice atmosphere.

Best wishes for the coming season.

  • I sit in SK1 and it does seem UFS are reluctant to join in with songs when they have been started in a different section. Very much an "ooo look at us" clique.

Same and I'm sick of their attitudes, not saying they're all like this but a big majority of them are. Anyone starts a song they try and drown them out with their own chants. Also if a songs not catching on bin it, not these cliquely bunch. I would love to move from this area because they're not even there for their team. Got a we're better then everyone else attitude

Why dont you move from the area then?

"Not there for their team" yet they sing for 90 minutes. lollollol

Maybe you should have a chat to a few of the lads & ladies within the group. They're a lot different than you seem to think.

This could depend on what song it is. There is a thread on here to suggest new chants and songs.

Were champions league now "dilly ding, dilly dong" and we always need good new chants and songs.

I suggest go with the flow and support your team or be proud to sing your own song till your lungs bleed. Support is still support. No one ever complained about the guy sitting next to them singing their heart out for the lads.

Back to the game Mendy is not a Kante replacement. Hopefully -and im sure he will - picks up a bit becuase he looked completely off the pace and very pedestrian in the 1st half. Only a handful of touches I think. obviously 1 half of freindly football, his first with the club and very early days.

Ulloa looked awesome - hold up play was unbelievable. Looked like he'd taken some Vardy pills.

Chillwell looks more and more composed each time I see him. Nice clean crisp passing and defensively read the game very well.

Drinky looked liked he's never stopped playing especially first half. Changed his game when Musa came on.

Musa looked a little raw struggled to make space. His pace alone will play mind games with defenders. Will be interesting to see him play along side vardy - if indeed thats the plan.

Armartey played ok didnt really put a foot wrong. Not a RB though. Looks slightly under confident  at times and maybe a little light in the tackle.

Mahrez left leg is a wand.

That ultra section at Celtic yesterday isn't what's football about. Do I want safe standing ? Yes . Do I want to sing ? Yes. I just find them so cringey though. Like a bunch of nerds have overtaken football grounds and want to be hipsters European ultras.

We don't need flags waving non stop to get behind the team or jumping or crouching down on the floor to get behind our team. None of this ever happened at filbert street, The UFS need to drop their attitude next year and actually do what their suppose to do and be a FANS group instead of a cliquely group of arrogant dicks.

Away end yesterday was a joke, too many plastics in there who have jumped on the band wagon. Didn't stand or sing, last season it started to get bad and I hope it doesn't get worst.

Wembley gonna be shit, if yesterday was anything to go off.

Did anyone else think that we were playing at a higher tempo (if that's possible) than last season - closing down quicker, and then moving the ball quickly. Thought that the players looked lean and fit, especially given that this is only their second friendly. Liked the red kit.

Really? I don't like the red kit personally, but each to their own I guess. Maybe it's my subliminal hatred of Forest and Liverpool over the last 40 years but I'm just not comfortable watching Leicester in all red - just feels weird and all wrong to me...

Oh yeah because it's that easy to move now a days isn't it

It is, I moved last season and it wasn't a problem. In the end I didn't move very far, still in the same section but you have the option to decide where you want. There's plenty of seats that don't belong to ST holders and the club will work with you to find the seat/area that you'd prefer. Give the club an email if you'd prefer to move.

First half yes but I was a bit disapointed with Musa and Okazaki in regards to closing down, Musa I understand because he is new to the club and may have been told to focus on finding space but I felt Ulloa ran more then Okazaki out of possession. The last 15-20 minutes where painful because Celtic where just passing it around the defence not looking to make attacking plays and there wasn't a great deal of closing down, plus when we got the ball the strikers where too far from the midfield which ment we kept on losing possession against their more physical CBs.

As you said though it is a friendly so I am not too concerned, just thought its an area we could improve on and will improve on when fitness increases.

On the plus side we seem to look better at slowing the game down and keeping the ball, Zielers distribution is top notch and Chilwell is going to be a beast LB for us. Amartey too looked supurb when moved into midfield and I think with more game time he could be a Kante replacement (Mendy to me is more of a Drinkwater mould from the videos and information I have seen and heard)

I agree 100% ....red felt so wrong......hate it to be honest.....might sound a bit out of touch but we should not be playing in red.........yellow, gold, green, white, black but not red

Imagine frothing at eachother at a football game over what essentially is an argument about which wizard king is the true wizard king. Seems like the 16th century is still in full flow up in Glasgow.

Still think that we need to add to the forward line - someone like Dzeko would provide height, reasonable mobility and experience of the premier league for circa £12m

I thought we were a bit slower off the ball actually, we missed Vards leading the charge I think. When Okazaki came on he worked hard but I didn't think we were pressing quite so high up the pitch. Not match fit I guess is the obvious answer.
