The Battle of Britain. Celtic up next

I've bitten the bullet (somewhat unfortunate phrasing around some of Sellick's more "political" fans) and me and Mrs Vac will be sitting amongst the unwashed.

City better win this. Many Scots still bang on about beating England in 1967, so my work will be unbearable if they get anything off the Champions of England.

COYB.

I hope we win purely cause we'll get so much stick if we lose to a Celtic that lost to a semi-pro team from Gibraltar.

I want to see this at some point

Zieler/Kasper - dont care who

Simpo - Morgo - Hutho -  Fuchs

 Drinkwater -Moore/Amartey- Mendy

Mahrez - Musa - Gray/Schlupp

It's a friendly so anything goes, but Celtic are doggo despite having a handful of half decent players. Should beat them really.

Sod's law that the rare occasion we play in Scotland I can't go.

On paper.....Worst Celtic side i've ever seen. It's all on us, if we pick a side to win, we win. Although the game isnt played on paper, we're pretty shit hot on grass aswell tbh

Totally ignorant to their squad as Scottish football is even more of a joke the usual at the moment. Have they got anyone decent?

Their goalie is alright

Efe Ambrose in their defence is utter bombscare. Gets a lot of stick from his own fans.

Scott Brown is their skinhead hard man. Given that he was photographed slumped on the floor with a kebab in hand outside a night club last year, we can assume he may be struggling for pre season fitness.

They got most of their goals last season from Leigh Griffiths. The little guy with the terrible hair transplant.  He can be skillful but he's often a headless chicken.

Celtic also have Mousse Dembele. Not the good one. A young bloke with the same name who is apparently not very good.

It's one of the worst Celtic sides I can remember seeing. They usually always have decent players. I know people talk about Scottish football but a lot of former players in that league have looked really good in the PL. Van Dijk, who moved from Celtic to Southampton, as an example.

I can't imagine Celtic will put a particularly strong team out for this one as their focus will be on tonight and the next round if they get through. We really should win, but they do have some decent youngsters. Beat Wolfsburg at the weekend.

Like all our ICC games It's being shown on sky sports here and on espn in America so a stream shouldn't be to hard to find

Celtic played well beating Wolfsburg, this will be a good test, although i guess it depends on what team we (and Celtic) put out.

You know the scots will be hell bent on beating the Champions of England, will it mean as much to us?.

Just hope it's not like last time we played Celtic poor James Wesolowski never recovered from that tackle and a player I thought had a really bright future saw his career nose dive.

Celtic play crucial game tonight hoping to reverse that defeat last week. Im sure their fitness levels will be above our current level, but we have better players.

I hope Mendy is fit enough to play and also hope Musa gets 90minutes.We will be without Vardy Fuchs and King but should beat this lot,im going for a 1 -2 Musa Gray

I like the look of this for Celtic, they wont be used to such a full on attack with a brick wall at the back waiting for them.

Chilwell was getting forward a lot yesterday to create some positive chances, a few nice low crosses but with Gray in front they were leaving a bit too much space that would be punished by a better team.  I think he may start instead of Fuchs for this game.  He can get forward with 3 in midfield to come across and cover.

I love the confidence that Gray has and isn't afraid to try some skill when in a tight spot, he has defiantly been watching and learning from Mahrez.

Moore played well last night, Claudio must think he can do that role and will be great for Liam to play and contribute to the team again.  I would like to see Amartey given a proper chance in Midfield rather than at RB.  Both can make mistakes and learn if they have the calm heads of Mendy and Drinkwater next to them.

Anyone remember the caller to the final 606 with Savage who asked who would win out of Celtic and Leicester?  When Robbie said Leicester easily he hung up.
