Would love us to win this competition. If we were to win the International Champions Cup & FA Community Shield - two pieces of silverware before the football season has even started.

Getting annoyed with the commentator on this Juve game saying 'Dibbler' to pronounce 'Dybala'.

Pretty sure it should be 'de-ba-la'

Why are they playing this at the MCG? Almost empty.

$120 for the cheapest tickets for a friendly between two teams that haven't got great support established in Melbourne.

They tried to rip the fans off and it's backfired massively.

When. Say without great established support I mean filling 100,000 seats for a friendly big.

I always enjoy the variations of Schlupp that come from American commentators.

We we might even get a Ly-Chester city

Quite a complicated format. This article explains where, when and how everything works. Another trophy to add to the cabinet.....

Cheers I was wondering how all this worked, seems like we are in the toughest part of the 3 tournaments we could win all our games but so could Inter or Real it just says the team with the most points wins what if it is equal? Goal difference?

However, teams are contractually obliged to play some of their stars in the competition, not just their reserves.

Will we have any stars left?

Anyone else concerned that our schedule for next 3 weeks looks very gruelling.....Celtic today then trip to California for PSG next Sat 30th. 3 day turnaround to play Barcelona in Stockholm on Aug 3rd ...Aug 7th Wembley vs Manu and 6 days later early kick off for the main event away to Hull......It takes me a few days to get over jet lag when flying from East Coast USA so don't know how the team and staff will be able to fly from California to Stockholm and be ready for a match so soon....Makes me feel tired just reading and writing about it ....

I know what you mean... It does sound a lot but I suppose we need to cash in on our success while we can.

to be fair Wes Morgan has hardly stopped travelling in the last few years and he is in the form of his life

Trading standards should be looking into this. More none champions than champions just the usual football bollox like the CL.

Imagine buying tickets for Spurs Juve and getting these line ups.

I thought they were contractually obliged to play their stars.

Good to see Trippier back for Spurs, but I don't see any of these as first choice, maybe one of Chadli or Wanyama.

Juve lead also with a mostly second string side, Dybala scores after 5 minutes.

2-0 now Spurs look awful at the back, but no Walker, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose not even Wimmer.

Juve are just closing them down putting them under pressure and we know how well Spurs deal with pressure...

Another thing I dislike about this tournament is the lack of traditional colours being played in.

Whats with all these away and third kits coming out
