elaborate? He was absolutely outstanding during the Euros, a solid leader. Brings many of the same qualities a Deeney would bring and Kasper and Wes exhibit on a weekly basis.

He was very average in the euros but more to the point he was shown up badly in the Prem last season. Swansea were probably our easiest victories and Mahrez had Williams in his pocket throughout both games. He is what the Morgan haters in the first prem season worried about most - in fact I'd say he was very much a Wes-lite without the inexperience or age to get any better.

People who claim he was "outstanding" in the euros must have been really overrating the opposition he played against. I'd say he was the most overrated Defender in the prem at the end of last season and that has only gotten worse. Swansea must be laughing all the way to the bank.

If Swansea are wise they'll offer the whole £14m for Reece Oxford and have a far better player now and for the next 15 years.

I will be disgusted if Hakim Ziyech is allowed to leave Twente for anyone else other than us. He is made for our team. He's got incredible skill, endless energy and he's very versatile. If he goes Everton i'll be livid.

powerful box to box midfielder, a young right back like Iorfa and a creative second striker and I think we'll get top 6.... If not somewhere between 6th and 10th

Losing Kante does put pressure on Simpson at RB, as Ngolo covered well. Worryingly it is likely to expose Mahrez defensively too.

Mendy or Amartey are our best options for this role, but I do think that we will have to deviate from 442 more this year. Indeed I wonder if the 352 of the Great Escape would work, but realistically Claudio will play 451. I can see Vardy getting rather isolated with that.

Ranieri has said he wants 22 players, 2 for every position:

GK - schmeichel, zieler.

DR - Simpson, Hernandez,

DC - Wes, Wasyl, Huth.

DL - Fuchs, Chilwell.

ML - Albrighton, Kaputska.

MC - King, Drinky, Amartey, Mendy.

MR - Mahrez, Gray.

SC - Vardy, Musa, Shinji, Ulloa.

That's 21 leaving us one short at the back. If we are to assume Hernandez is the backup right back, I'd expect one more signing at centre half. Or another right back.

Either way I'd expect one more unless someone leaves, and I've excluded Schlupp from the squad.

Based on that performance we need a right back, centre back, centre mid and a striker

I'd go as far to say Sell Mahrez and buy a winger who wants to be here,

Love mahrez but absolutely convinced he has his eyes elsewhere, has not seemed interested all pre season.

We needed an attacking CM today, nobody filling the hole in hulls midfield.

I want 3

A CM that is better than our best player, that takes no shit and protects the back 4.

A right back so Simpson will have some competition and who can cross a ball.

A attacker that is better than what we have.

If we could go back to the start of the transfer window....

Wanyama

God knows

Feghouli

We need some strength, we are so light around the pitch, we need some speed but with a bit of brute.

If only Hulk wasnt a money grabber

Definitely lacking a strong tackler in the middle of the park, imo Carvalho Lemina or N'zonzi would be perfect, also looked very poor at the back today but hopefully huths return will sort that but some genuine competition at right back is needed.

Nzonzi is a great shout, him and Lemina!

Or him and Schneiderlin.

Few decent suggestions

We deffo need first and foremost a tough guy in CM to allow Drinky to play the passing game we seen last season which got him his England up.

And give the defence the protection like today it really needs.

we knew Kante was class but I didn't realise how easy we would get cut apart without him.

Not a chance of getting my 2 suggestions but Noble would be good and has that bite in him, maybe the £ and CL football prize him away and his loyalty to WH.

also could our Sports Science team help Wilshere's fitness problems and manage a prolonged period of games without injury?

im trying to think of a tried and tested player to fit in fast but I'm struggling as I don't watch much foreign football to suggest more names.

Cdm - john obi mikel? Could be quite cheap since the signing of kante, experience player.

Rb - kieran trippier? Again i think would be quite cheap, good at set peices also.
