The transfer policy has clearly taken a hit since Walsh left. What the **** happened to Lucas Perez? He was set to sign by the end of the week at one point?

Perez set to sign was just rubbish paper talk I feel and sadly as I have said before I think our business is done for this transfer window.

In desperate need of a centre mid I think today totally reinforced that, although Kingy turned in a good cameo today.

Right back is an area where we're weak in terms of depth but Simpson is a strong first choice, despite what some people say on here lol

We can't go into the champions league with Drinky and Kingy as a pair and then play the same two on a Saturday/Sunday...this being if Mendy is out for a period of time. CR will know this and I expect we'll break our transfer record again for an experienced box to box midfielder before the window closes

One thing we missed today was a left footed crosser. There were times where the ball went to the LW and we could of done with a first time ball in the box. This is partly why Schlupp is important, Fuchs has a real cross on him.

Ulloa looked great today. I don't think we need to splash the cash for another striker. Save it and buy a midfielder.

Maybe offer 25m Euros for Lemina, see if we can get Juve to sell.

A centre back is needed, we were shocking at defending at Hull without Huth in the team, quality cover is essential.

I honestly think we need cover at RB CB CM and CF still personally but the greatest need surely has to be that centre mid spot (the Kunte roll if you like)

Really hoping our business isn't finished. If we sign a RB, CM and CF then I'd be very pleased with our summer.

Can't see it though.

It's all gone very quiet on the transfer front - I do hope its not all business done for LCFC, that'd be a bit dissapointing.

GK - Schmeichel, Zieler.

RB - Simpson, De Laet.

CB - Hernandez, Morgan, Huth, Benalouane, Wasilewski, Moore.

LB - Fuchs, Chilwell.

Wingers - Mahrez, Gray, Schlupp, Albrighton.

CM - Drinkwater, King, Inler, James, Mendy, Kapustka, Amartey.

ST - Vardy, Musa, Ulloa, Okazaki.

Below is an update to that squad, in which players without squad numbers have been removed. Moore has joined Reading.

GK - Schmeichel, Zieler.

RB - Simpson.

CB - Hernandez, Morgan, Huth, Wasilewski.

LB - Fuchs, Chilwell.

Wingers - Mahrez, Gray, Schlupp, Albrighton, Kapustka

CM - Drinkwater, King, James, Mendy, Amartey.

ST - Vardy, Musa, Ulloa, Okazaki.

I think visually here we can see which areas need investment. For me, it's definitely a CM we need to sign, and even more so now Mendy is out. Matty James also isn't fit yet, unsure of his future here but he's been given a squad number. Bringing in another CM would leave us with five central midfielders, the same number as our wingers. We've only got one recognised RB in Simpson, so that area needs strengthening, we've got the likes of Hernandez and Wasilewski who can fit in there though. Four strikers, is that enough? One more forward for me.
