I sense a lot of fans like myself are not quite content with our squad yet. For me we are lacking a recognised RB and ST. Although I think we could manage without a RB in all honestly as we have good enough players who can cover there. We shouldn't sell Schlupp.

Multiple choice allowed in the poll.

This is our current squad to my reckoning:

GK - Schmeichel, Zieler.

RB - Simpson, De Laet.

CB - Hernandez, Morgan, Huth, Benalouane, Wasilewski, Moore.

LB - Fuchs, Chilwell.

Wingers - Mahrez, Gray, Schlupp, Albrighton.

CM - Drinkwater, King, Inler, James, Mendy, Kapustka, Amartey.

ST - Vardy, Musa, Ulloa, Okazaki.

CM wouldn't go amiss, King can't do what Kante did for us.

I'm not massively convinced by Simpson, so a right back would be a wise choice as well.

Goalkeeper although not essential

Right back

Centre backs

Holding midfielder

Striker

Our summer was shite. We haven't improved.

What gets me is that we were told we were buying Mendy to play alongside Kante, not replace him. Remember we signed him before losing Kante. So logically the club should be looking for another Midfielder. Mendy is our holding midfielder so we don't need one of those and Amartey can backup for that role. We need a box to box man, an actual Kante replacement. King's shocking performance yesterday shows how exposed we'd be if Drinky and or Mendy got injured or suspended or lost form.

Similar to Deeney as well. We were told we were after Deeney to play alongside Vardy. We've got Musa, yes but we were already in for him. Are we no longer looking for a Deeney type player?

Musa is a player who i'd predict will be in and out of the starting lineup. He's no winger, but he gives us that pacy option to stretch defences toward the end of a game and to give Vards a break. Other than being a better striker, he looks like a slightly better Schlupp all pace and no brains. We need a better quality striker to play up top.

As for the rest, we are one defender short. I've not been impressed with Hernandez and I'm not sure whether he's been brought in as another DC or a backup DR or just a utility defender like Phil Jones. Simpson looks like a walking red card at the minute so I'd strengthen at Right Back but still like the idea of Keane.

As much as I like Musa's speed, his strange bursts getting past players, I don't know if he's that suited to playing alongside Vardy as a link up man because in these games i've seen him in, his final product and passing has been nothing short of poor to be honest. I feel Vardy's missed chances yesterday were not entirely down to his own misjudgement, but the balls that he was fed; so I'd like to see a creative CAM sort of in the vein of Kapustka / Mahrez playing in behind Vardy as opposed to Musa.

Also noticed Amartey is proving to be incredibly out of his depth already from last season right up until that cameo yesterday. It's clear he won't be the man  to hold down a CM spot to me, especially not right now anyway.

We need more height our squad is far too short and we look like conceding off every set piece.

So ideally we should be looking for a RB, CB, CM and ST all well over 6 foot.

not sure on who for RB and CB but would like N'Zonzi for CM and Slimani for ST.

We need a like for like replacement for Kante. I'm not interested in players who are able to play 5 yard passes and 'sit' (i.e. do nothing of any significance). I want a tackler and preferably one that's happy to either carry the ball forward or distribute it quickly to start up our attacks. He doesn't need to be as good as Kante but he does need to be able to play the same role.

If we're being brutally honest we should be looking to upgrade on Simpson and Amartey. They're both pretty clumsy at this level. If we got Fuchs on a free we can spend a little bit for someone of similar quality on the other side.

We haven't got enough up front. We're relying on Vardy to score goals. We have got to bring someone in to help him with that. Musa looks far too erratic for us to put faith in him as a starter and his goalscoring record isn't really amazing in quite a poor league. In fact he was often played as a winger. It's not easy to find players who score goals at this level but if we're aspiring to make the most of the position we've got ourselves in then we need to be ruthless.

I'm pretty happy with the squad, unless a quality bargain comes along we should just keep it as is.

God help us if Drinkwater picks up a knock during the season

Right Back

Centre Half

Centre Midfield

Striker

We need real quality in all positions above imo.....even yesterday we only Was and Mendy to add to the 18. We lost Kante and need to improve in other positions to compensate certainly at right back and driving midfielder!!

I've said Centre midfield as one of the options I've picked but to be honest, we've probably got enough to finish top 8 if we play a 3. Ranieri tryed playing a 3 in midfield a couple of times last season but I think we would see the benefits of it this. We need someone to link midfield into attack, we don't really have that in a 2 anymore, especially when teams sit back against us

If we wanted to target for a European football again we should go for 4 more players.

A young gifted right back.

Bruno Peres/Iorfa

A centre mid.

N'Zonzi, Parades, Lemina

a number 10.

Luan, Barbosa

upgraded Target man.

Slimani, Zaza
