Amartey has all the ingredients and even briefly at Celtic he looked good in midfield ......early days and one performance so we need patience but a good foil for Drinky as he is so athletic like a certain player who left and was the best midfielder of his type I have seen in a blue shirt.

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 27 August 2016 Posted 27 August 2016 You could always tell that he was a decent enough player but Christ I wasn't expecting that today. Strong in the tackle, plenty of energy, looked after the ball well and made some clever forward passes. Add to that his fantastic heading ability, and also, not many people seem to have mentioned the fact that he's lightening quick. I couldn't believe how quick he was when he was sprinting. Based on today's performance, Kante might not be such a big miss after all. Exciting times.

I know it was his debut and in a different position six months ago but he looked a totally new player, full of confidence and authority.

I don't think he's the worthy replacement of N'Golo as everyone here is hoping for to be honest... N'Golo was such a immense beast by allowing Leicester to play 4-4-2 against some of the bigger teams last season.
