Why don't we buy the debt that Sporting owes to the Bank from the Bank and squeeze them from direction? :dunno: We could probably buy it for cents on the Euro and might even be cheaper than paying the outrageous prices quoted for Slimani and Adrien.

that could go so sour (not that it could ever happen cos it's hypothetical).

we buy the debt

player changes his mind and decides to stay

we've just cleared a club's debt for nothing

so yes.

Er no. We buy the debt. They give us the players for free and we cancel the debt. If they fail to do this we demand full immediate repayment of the debt or we close the Club. :claudio:

i mean its a creative approach. but apart from anything else, it is probably illegal under fifa rules. possibly even under financial law. conflict of interests and all that

Unless he meant we as in Foxestalk, we all club together buy the debt from the bank, demand instant repayment forcing them to sell their star players, then we collect the money with a little interest, Leicester have 2 new players and we will have made a little bit of money and a powerful enemy...

That's a good idea I like it but one problem.

Every other club would fvck us over or refuse to deal with us u till we are nothing but a park side.

I am not saying that the plan has no wrinkles. ;) I am sure that could be ironed out.

we buy every other clubs debt, then turn all the debts in on themselves, so every club owes every club an insurmountable amount of money. they all liquidate and voila we win the ucl by default

why don't we get sporting to become our feeder club,we help them out financially and stuff and they give us the players we want?

Because even if we wanted to do that (which I guarantee we don't) it could take months if not years to sort it all out and make sure there were no legal repercussions not to mention its probably illegal.

no offence to the topic starter because he is not alone in this but what is it about the transfer window that makes people with no experience or understanding of economics or football as as a business post absolute dribble on foxestalk.

Just in all seriousness for a moment, do you think that the the way the President of Sporting is conducting himself is making Sporting a more or less attractive Club to deal with? That from a player or other Club perspective.
