Lineker's Left Foot Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Always seems to be that the media are reporting on us purchasing a,b and c on deadline day and we end up with x. Apologies if I'm wrong section, but can anybody else see this happening. I am going for a couple of under 21 development team signings and some prolific striker from Holland or Belgium or something that wasn't on our media radar. Maybe Wilshere too? Although I am not ITK
Dr The Singh Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 I've got some hookers and some champers on ice, I'm struggling to us making any signings, at this moment and time, any fooked will do!!!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 I think Wilshere would excel with the training and conditioning we have here, he wouldn't be a bad option to go for
WiFoxes Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Was just thinking about Dyer showing up in the chopper last year on deadline day. Look back at that fondly, 100% due to that Villa winner.
Ric Flair Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 We are absolutely atrocious at getting players in in the last few days of the window, there are so many deals that fizzled out in recent years. It'll take a huge shift in ruthlessness tomorrow to change this as we just seem a bit pony.
st albans fox Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Chelsea resigning luiz they seem good at resigning playrs maybe we will resign NGolo! That would be a surprise! more like the MacArthy fella from everton
Collymore Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 I remember at the end of the January transfer window fuming that we hadn't signed a striker to cover Vardy. Hindsight has shown that obviously it worked out well but I get the idea that that was more luck than judgement. I think now with us being in Europe the next 24 hours are so important in our history for the following reasons. 1. We''re in our best ever position to attract world class players with the "Leicester City" story fresh in everyone's mind. The brand is just off the scale 2. We're Champions League 3. We have a shed load of cash The next 24 hours are like stepping stones or connect the dots. Use it wisely and it opens up so many opportunities going forward, use it poorly and we're going to hit a massive dead end. Now the question is have we really planned for this? I mean we have known we're safe since October/November last year and Champions League since April. We mess up tomorrow and it will be a monumental f**k up of the highest proportions.
Brainy Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Christian Fuchs was out of the blue, linked with and signed on the same day

Lambert09 Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Hmmm I can see a suprise popping up if we hit snags with the sporting lads. Ighalo

If ever he gets fit I think he'll still be a quality player.
Captain... Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Tom Lawrence and Nick Powell were late additions a couple of seasons ago. So was Simpson, that came under the radar late on. My favourite was turning up at Sunderland in 1995 first game of the season and we were lining up with Steve Corica on the wing, this was the first any of us had heard of him because we had been travelled to Newcastle the day before and couldn't check Ceefax in the hotel room. He scored on his debut and a cult legend was born.
Guest Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Jack Wiltshire, although I did once put a tenner on Ballotelli to join Leicester, so what do I know

foxy boxing Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 chelsea re sighning luis seemed a massive joke, i mean to get 50 million for him was amazing but to buy him back? the guy is not a central defender everyone can agree on that. he has a great free kick and for some reason fans seem to love him 'are they laughing at him instead of with him'.it will once again be funny to see him rush up the pitch in a game leaving his central defensive partner stranded
