Hey everyone, I'm researching for my dissertation which is on how Leicester won the league last season. I need some data, so If as many people as possible could answer the following questionnaire, I would be very grateful!!!

1) How many home games did you attend last season?

2) How many away games did you attend last season?

3) How long have you been a Foxes Fan?

4) How far do you live from the King Power?

A - <10miles

B - >10miles<20miles

C - >20miles<30miles

D - >30miles<40miles

E - >40miles<50miles

F - >50miles

G - >100miles

H - Outside of Britain

H - Outside of Europe

5) Why do you support the Foxes?

A – Location

B – Parents/relatives/friends

C – Style of Play

D – Other (please specify)

6) What was the main reason Leicester won the league?

A – Style of Play

B – Purchase of players

C – Choice of manager

D – Objective Intentions of the owner

E – Weakness of other teams in the league

F – Little Rotation of Squad

G – Other (please specify)

7) What would you say the value of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy are respectively?

No one will or should post their postcode on this or any other forum.

Try another way.

The main reason City won, I think, was the fact they collected more points than any other team. be surprised if any fan can up with a better reason.

Theres nothing wrong with posting a postcode, absolutely nothing anyone can do without the rest of an address, if people feel more comfortable then they can email postcodes to [email protected] - just trying to research an amazing story guys!!!

Can't go to games these days for health / financial and distance reasons, I' d be surprised if you get a great response to this, folks don't like to give personal data on forums (or should that be fora?) If you do get a goods response it may be a good idea to ask for bank details and pin numbers too?

Well you're wrong, the net is full of not very nice people and in many cases it doesn't take long to find some ones actual address from their post code.

When the admin on here even receive requests for help from people who are being harassed  anythings possible.

Postcodes for any foxes fans would be appreciated, even if you can't go to games, just researching how far foxes fans are spread out!! Obviously no one should send their postcode if they don't feel 100% - but would be very much appreciated! (completely anonymous too!!)

If you don't want to be involved in the research that's fine!!! No worries at all!

I don't mind being involved in your research as an admin I don't want to risk having to deal with people the are being harassed.

My location is Glenfield.

I guess a couple of reasons would be that we had a style that was opposed to the norm.  Giving up possession to the opposition but when we were in possession we played a counter attacking direct style of football, clubs weren't used to playing against that.

Another reason was the lack of rotation, the fact we used a small amount of players compared to the rest of the premier league.  They knew their roles and were very effective.

I don't know if you can use that data, I also wouldn't read too much into the locations of forum users, there are a lot more foxiles on  this forum than is representative of the fan base because it is a way of keeping in touch with the club once they have left the city.

If you want more responses I would do it more as a survey/questionnaire, ask people their opinions and more quantifiable questions such as how many games they went to last season and how far did they travel on average will give you better data to work with. Do they live in the CIty, the Shire, England, UK, Europe, Intercontinental and ask to be more specific. Post code is kinda personal and not really that useful.

If you just want a list of locations then most people have them on their profile, feel free to use mine...

This seems like a half arsed attempt to get some information for your dissertation.

If the question is "How Leicester won the league" then knowing how far I live from the stadium is pretty irrelevant, unless you think that those who live closer/further away have very distinct views on how this was achieved.

In all liklehood, it is probably a combination of all of the factors you list.

Seriously, if this is a valid university project then I really do wonder. My eight year old could have come up with this survey.

Besides, everyone on here knows that it was the reburial of King Richard III that was the catalyst for our success. And Rachel Riley.

1) How many home games did you attend last season? Every home league game.

2) How many away games did you attend last season? 12

3) How long have you been a Foxes Fan? 27 years

4) How far do you live from the King Power?

A - <10miles

F - >50miles

G - >100miles

H - Outside of Britain

H - Outside of Europe

5) Why do you support the Foxes? Because in my eyes, you support your local team, unless for family reasons ie your Dad being from somewhere else and having a history of supporting a team, it's the done thing, and it was the 1st team I was taken to see live.

A – Location

B – Parents/relatives/friends

C – Style of Play

D – Other (please specify)

6) What was the main reason Leicester won the league? We won the most games, lost 3 all season and a never say die attitude.

A – Style of Play

B – Purchase of players

C – Choice of manager

D – Objective Intentions of the owner

E – Weakness of other teams in the league

F – Little Rotation of Squad

G – Other (please specify)

7) What would you say the value of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy are respectively? Last season, about 70 million and 30 million, so far this season about 25 and 10 to be honest.

Don't worry about my research at all, I have reasons for asking the questions I'm asking....I've done huge amounts of research already, and now I'm trying to find out more about the fans....Please if you're not going to contribute to my research, then don't bother replying, not helpful at all!!

Leicester won by having a great team spirit along with playing some good football with players on fire like vardy and mahrez. we only lost three league games all season and won plenty with pace upfront and outwide and having a creative midfielder partnering the best tackler in the league combined with the big clubs effictively having a year off
