MPH Posted 20 October 2016 Posted 20 October 2016 I'd like to see us try the 343 Slimani in the middle with Vardy and Mahrez either side ( Musa known to play left side so possibly rest Vardy?) Drinky in the middle of Amartey and King with Amartey on the right to use his speed to cover the Rb and right side to make up for Mahrez maybe not tracking back.. Hernandez to join big wes and Huth at the back.possibly fuchs instead of hernandez to provide a bit of a left foot on the left side... Easy to swap it around with Fuchs and Simpson on the bench...

You're missing the fourth midfielder, no? Albrighton? I'd certainty give it a go!

Foxy's Folk Faced Posted 20 October 2016 Posted 20 October 2016 I think the truth is, we've had a lot of tough games to start the season and lost badly in those. The games you would perhaps expect us to be winning, we have done, and I would put this game in that category.

All big boys, there is nothing to be ashamed of when you lose to those (-Arsenal) and away... especially when you have the champions league... Still plenty of time to improve thing in the Premiere league... No need to panic, nor to put pressure on urselves... Enjoy your games and be tolerant to some imperfections and most of all trust your coach and be behind your team and players... And remember you are doing better than any English team in the CL

crazyleicester Posted 21 October 2016 Posted 21 October 2016 One of the things that has been missing from last season is that invincibility feeling that avoiding defeat and winning games breeds. We started crap and havent stopped. However, the wins in the Champions League must give the lads a boost We have no International break now to mess things up and can try to take that feeling against a OK Palace side. For me I reckon they are a good team to play as they play with width, usually two wingers and a big man up front. OK Benteke has a bit more to his game than being a target man but he is the type of striker our centre backs like playing against. I dont rate there defence or midfield if Im honest, it seems lightweight, and with Zaha now a regular with Bolasie gone I think they are worse than last season. Townsend worries me a bit but I think if we go on the front foot against these we can win comfortably.

Not suggesting Gray can't defend but I'm predicting he will stick with Marc in the starting lineup.

Defending is important, but why shouldn't we have them fear OUR wingers and replace Zaha with someone more defensive?
