Lineker's Left Foot Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 A bit touchy on their forum too. Oh we won the League twice they say... Yeah when I wasn't born.... "Just like Forest, you love in the past"
Freesolo Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Last season changed my view on Spurs fans big time! I used to think they were a decent bunch but the bitterness is palpable.
Koke Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I don't even dislike Arsenal that much anymore. I hope they finish above Tottenham again this season.

"Just like Forest, you love in the past" Last year is 'the past' too. Let's not pretend our club will experiemce similar levels of success on a regular basis. We'll be accused of the same thing in 20-30-40 years time.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Our first away point of the season and their first goal conceded from open play. Two delicious floodgates opened there
FoxyPalace.com Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Tottenham are a good middle table premier league club, let them dream otherwise if they wish. They are not in the bracket of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City just yet.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I'll say now what I said 8 months ago; Alli is the nastiest player in the league. Absolutely horrible piece of work; falls to the ground at the slightest contact but more than happy to stamp and leave his foot in throughout the game, all in front of the obliging officials. The sort of kid who'd have been a teacher's pet despite bullying the smallest kid in the class.

Yet he wanted us to roll over for his beloved Spurs so he could get what he wanted, the pious pr1ck!!!... This is what depresses me the most - Twats like 1882 who have have absolutely no honour or integrity spewing out their dishonest, pointless bile and being circle jerked by his cronies...Doesn't have the decency to admit that if we were that crap and undeserving but they couldn't beat us to the title and couldn't beat us today at WHL, that he is actually undermining his own, beloved club??! He says we killed football yet is too thick to see that it's actually the wanton pumping of money into clubs that is killing football and we proved that last season by being the antithesis to that and pulling it off in style!!! We also scored 68 goals so I don't see how on earth we could be "anti-football" as that requires purposely spoiling and putting the entire team behind the ball, week in week out...Fvcking lying idiot... I still think we are better than advertised this season but once Spuds actually start playing a consistent succession of tough PL fixtures, they'll drop off into 7th, 8th, 9th etc...Then will he finally see it has fvck all to do with us??? Can't help getting wound up over his comments though - He wants other teams to roll over for Spuds and when they don't and they drop points, resorts to saying that it was because others rolled over in order for the opposition to not roll over, which of course makes no fvcking sense at all!!!? His reasoning, NOT mine by the way!
Matt Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 That was better! Just got back, enjoyable day, Happy with a draw, said i'd take it before the match and think it's a fair result really, some would argue we deserved to win, some would argue we deserved to lose, I really do think a draw was fair though. Ref was absolute dogshite, I will say that though - Although what did piss me off was some Spurs fans on the train saying they'd never heard of the ref 'So, he must be from the lower leagues and been promoted'. 1) No, he's quite a well known ref tbh, shite, but well known, perhaps there's a reason for that....he's shite. 2) Why should the lower leagues put up with such an incompetent little shit?!?!?!? Pissed me off when we were down in the lower leagues that because a referee had a bad game he'd be demoted....NO! Why should the lower league teams suffer? What have they done wrong?!?!?
ealingfox Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Absolutely howling at that Spurs forum. Deary, deary me.

No, fecker! If it wasn't for your purchased ref you should've lost! What a tosser! By the way he makes Ranieri's English sound excellent! Another good point. I should add that I wish moaning Spuds fans would realise the reason for their annoyance is actually because Pochettino has no honour and is obviously teaching his players to behave like he does!!! There's a clear pattern that's emerged since he's been at the helm. It's like they've carried on with the conniving, dishonourable ways from last season, yet are surprised when it only takes them so far??!! Fvcking staggering...
AKCJ Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 When you're excited to watch MOTD but find out that Motson is the commentator.
daddylonglegs Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Also wtf is Schlupp doing in a premier league team. Someone please tell me what he does as a pro footballer?

The Doctor Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Comedy of errors by Madley for that penalty. Not a free kick to start with, and there's nothing in that. Man is beyond believable - three seasons in a row we've gone to white hart lane and he's got a penalty decision wrong in their favour.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 HOW HAS HE GIVEN A FREE KICK TO SPURS FOR ALLI STAMPING ON KING?!!!
Guest ttfn Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Motson is just awful. I say this every time he commentates on MOTD but he's absolutely embarrassing.

Durnerz Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I grew up listening to John Motson and have had the pleasure of him commentating on my early football games on my first few consoles. Hang the mic up man, follow Barry Davies' example and bow out while you can. Listening to him is painful, its obvious its retrospective commentary as he seems late for some calls and miles early for others. Ulloa hadn't even jumped before he was squealing. Enoughs enough John, thanks for the memories.
The Doctor Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 and Jason fouled Huth straight from the free kick - genuinely shocked anyone can be this incompetent
