lgfualol Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I feel like the Leicester of last season is re-emerging. Lots more fight in this team than our previous away games, you can tell confidence is on its way back up. Musa was excellent. I am really glad he is fitting in well at LM, he works really hard and a massive attacking threat. Mahrez still looks a bit meh, not sure why but I would start someone else there next time we have a game prior to the CL. Really happy with a point today.

Only passed backwards and committed 2 silly challenges. Wish he was subbed much earlier. Sorry. He should be grilled in the very first post for your pleasure ... smh
woznotwos Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Terrible tackle that on Musa as he scores. Should have walked if the referee had any clue .
Durnerz Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 A far better performance and glad Claudio stuck with the side that beat palace (minus Slimani of course). Spurs are an absolute disgrace and the referee even more so for not clamping down on their antics. Battling performance and delighted for Musa, really looks to be gaining confidence playing facing the goal as oppose to with his back to it.
Collibosher70 Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Go on the fighting cock. ...they're having a melt down
daddylonglegs Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 What is it with north London players and (mainly) fans? Both at Arsenal & Spurs there has been a horrendously toxic atmosphere piling so much pressure on the (albeit entirely incompetent) referee and on both occasions they've completely caved and bottled it.

Think he still has his mind on our CL games, Gray should start there next prem game b4 a CL match.
cityfanlee23 Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 First half very poor, 2nd half better, came away with a point, not too certain it was deserved considering we had 1 shot on target and they hit the bar twice, great spirit but need to keep improving, good to see us on the ball and a bit more comfortable rather than the usual panic and pass it back to the CB who launches it route 1. Musa is still looking like he has alot of potential, King played well but feel we need a central attacking midfielder, we don't have much in midfield as far as technical ability is concerned.
Durnerz Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Surprised they've not stuck a cheeky bid in for Tom Daley
egg_fried_rice Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Quite simply unbelievable delusion from the spurs fans there. What on earth goes on in their heads?
Foxxed Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I remember a goal from last season with the same kind of determination over safety. Musa is fitting into the ethos wonderfully!
sphericalfox Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Whilst it was an improvement in terms of effort, passing, closing down and bearing in mind that it was away, we made one chance and scored it. They hit the woodwork twice, and if it wasn't for Kasper we'd have easily got hammered. Not being negative, as happy with a point, I just can't wait for Tuesday's game to be out f the way, so we can get back to moving from third gear and putting the fear back in the opposition, regardless of the venue.
Sionnach gorm Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 People keep bringing up "hitting the post". Since when is that a goal! We won that game fair and square...if it wasn't for that robber baron twat ref!

It was a good team performance, a player who wasn't up to his excellent best, doesn't need outing when we played so well as a team, a team which he was apart of.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Listened to it on the radio. Big shout to all those who travelled today. Sounded bloody awesome. Up the titty.
Captain... Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Backs to the wall first half, not helped by a ridiculous ref and Spurs players throwing themselves to the floor. I don't mind a physical centre forward who uses his strength and body and isn't afraid to get physical, but it is a bit rich to then complain and moan every time it is done back to him. It was 50/50 with Janssen and Huth/Morgan all game. Ali is a little shit, he had a kick out at Drinkwater, fell over at every opportunity, and some won a free kick for spinning into and stamping on Andy King. Enough of them salty bitters, we were magnificent in terms of effort and commitment, but let Spurs dominate too much, especially first half. My only real complaint would be that we backed off in the last 10 minutes and settled for a point when we had them on the ropes. Great effort, good point, but still things to work on.
urban.spaceman Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Fun fact: Dele Alli spent more time on the ground than the ball did.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Just back. Excellent game, in which we were the better side imo. A very fine all round effort, reminiscent of last season's standard. I don't like criticising referees, but today's left a lot to be desired. Cannon fodder? No, we most certainly are not! Just seen a couple of posts above re Mahrez. He certainly did not play a blinder, but we have a tremendously important match next up, and I am certain he will be on fire. The C.L. is a massive distraction.
FuchingKante Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Never seen a manager deal with the press so well, Ranieri is so classy.

He spent more time on the floor than a hookers knickers on a busy night outside white hart lane !! Hoping the FA review this game and give him a retrospective ban for the amount of cheating he did today some were so blatant and so hilariously done that the ref must have been pissing himself laughing when awarding him the free kick and I panicked at one thinking he was going to award another hilarious penalty when he swan dived just outside the box !! This kind of officiating should be investigated by the FA but I can't really see them doing it I'm not sure but can the club approach the FA with their concerns of his actions and a copy of his game report ?
Callabinho Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Thought they were nothing special at all, Spurs. Felt me deserved at least a point ant maybe could have nicked it. They're a horrible side to watch, so bitchy windy and moany....****ing annoying all of theatrics... But it's a cracking result for us, stops the rot and we look more like we did last season.

I expected a mass suicide after last season but they're all back slagging each other off , demanding the manager be sacked and pining for the return to fitness of horse face . Oh and bemoaning that the ref was bent and favoured us !
