Huth and Slim are because they are both on a yellow, which get wiped after the groups!

Not true.

Dropped, of course it's dropped. Resting Andy King? Mahrez and Vardy should have been dropped before now, Huth has been poor lately. Slimani injured? maybe.

This is a chance for other players to keep them dropped, about time!

Almost certainly rested. Expect all to start on Saturday evening. Bar King maybe.

The moment all the Algerian LCFC fans find out neither Mahrez nor Slimani have traveled to Porto. lol

Social Media outrage!!!!

Actually It is good they are not playing and we are happy they are not.

Algerians want to see Brahimi at porto and Ghezzal at Lyon (we really wish for them to go trough)

Mahrez is not a joy to watch this year (for club and country), as predicted he is fading away.

I hate sitting at my computer 10 minutes before the selection comes out knowing the only thing I'm going to do in the next 10 minutes is to wait for it to come out.

Those calling for Hamer will be pleased

Also why oh why is Hernandez RB? Give Morgan a rest and see if Hernandez can play CB better then he did at Hull. Simpson who has been one of our consistent players constantly getting shafted in the champions league must dent his confidence and moral.

Chilwell to get a CL game before a PL game.

Unhappy with 442, unhappy with Okazaki not being rested, but fine with everything else.

If we start with Vardy and Slimani on Saturday there will be riots.

Dan . They probably need to feel dropped .Get some fire going.

Left at home running up and down sandhills.

But I would always start Mahrez and Vardy should be able to give \john Stones and Bravo a very uncomfortable afternoon. That pair are a disaster waiting.

Musa and Shinji upfront, Schlupp and Gray on the wings, Mendy and Drinky holding down the midfield, Hernandez and Chilwell at the backs...

I'll bet that Shinji is off early for Ulloa and Barnes makes his debut today.

I've been fearing that since Vardy was reported to have not traveled.

Hopefully Okazaki gets 45 minutes and impresses, so taken off to not be overworked, and Ulloa gets the other 45.

Imo Okazaki and Slimani are our best strike partnership.

Deed poll latest name change to Ben Schwarmer.

Now we know ready to go chance for Chilwell to show some real composure and not get carried away still in 442 and Jeff/Gray to say pick me for the league games.

Anybody else see the irony in Ranieri leaving the so called "first team" at home and playing the team that many of us believe should be the "first team" at the moment

I wonder if Ranieri is sticking with the 4-4-2 to see if Drinky and Mendy can make it work, if it doesn't work with them then he might scrap it? Would also love to see Barnes making his debut tonight but doubt it sadly.
