AFCON

I'm hoping that having the ability to have Albrighton and Gray swap wings would give us a bit of an edge that other teams won't have gotten used to. Both have their different attributes and both perform different roles on either side. We'd be able to mix things up a bit. Obviously losing Mahrez is going to be a massive blow but it might (hopefully) give us an advantage for a bit.

I hope not. Stick Albrighton on the right. Gray on the left. Though I'd rather have Musa on the left starting, shame he will be at AFCON.

Musa will still be here Nigeria didn't qualify ffs.

Looking forward to it to be honest. If it was last season would have felt like hell on earth but seeing as we are not really playing for anything be good to see some of the fringe players get a run of games, big opportunities for gray, Mendy, musa, okazaki and ulloa coming up in the next few weeks

Not playing for anything?

I would have said our safety was pretty important.

I think it would be a good thing to lose mahrez for a bit , before you lynch me , let me explain

we've built our game around him and vardy and other teams are aware of that , each and every time mahrez gets the ball

he is marked by 2- 3 players which doesn't allow him to proceed to develop his game and every time he tries to get to vardy , he finds that vardy is either marked or misplaced , playing a couple of weeks without him would benefit the team not because he isn't a good player but because we can use that time to develop a new style of playing without relaying too much on him

And it's likely he'll be gone for good soon enough too...

My biggest concern is the loss of Ndidi and Musa both lynchpins in our team and both ready to turn out for nailed on AFCON winners Nigeria

Cannot find any odds for them winning? Must be because the trophy seems to pretty much be theirs already so bookmakers don't wanna lose any money. Fair play.

i think it will be a blessing in disguise when the afcon comes around and we will start performing and winning (you heard it here first) by the way will musa and ndidi be going with nigeria [emoji23]

Anyone know when squads are announced? Are we even certain Schluup, Amartey and Slimani will be in their squads for the competition?

I my self can say that slimani (if fit) gonna start for Algeria. I think amartey gonna be in the AFCON. But, I am not sure about schlupp.

We won't go down mate far too good for that couple of wins we will be looking up the table not down it.

Very close in the middle of the table. If we win the next two we could easily be 10th.
