Will you boo or clap towards N'Golo Kanté when he returns to the KP next week?

Anyone that doesn't clap him and appreciate what he did for us in that one season needs to take a look at themselves.

I was disappointed to see him leave but cannot fault him. I will clap him, he never said anything bad about us. He didn't say I want to stay, I love this club and will never leave, only to then move away (like some players do let's face it). He always saw Leicester as a step into the direction he wanted to go and fair play to him for being honest. Didn't mean he put Leicester on the bottom of his priority list, he gave everything every game.

Put yourself in a similar work position. You work for a small company who had a really good year, earning £25,000 a year. You outperformed and one of the biggest players in the market comes along and offers you a job for £60,000. Your current company say we can get to £40,000. 99% if not more would go to the big company who are a dominator in the market and offer more money. Why is football different?

But surely Top and Vichai would have matched the Chelsea offer? Still think he could have given us another season

Must say I was fairly unimpressed that he fecked off so quickly. Certainly with a Champions league campaign on offer. That aside, I'd only ever cheer him as he gave great service to LCFC in the short time he was here.

Ask me again at 19:00 if the little Judas scores a screamer from 30 yards!!!!

Surely his decision has been vindicated with Chelsea being the best team in the country this season? He's at a bigger, better club earning more money with more chance of success.

Better club? Care to elaborate?

Would have liked him to stay and think we would have done better if he had but after a period of cooling down from his departure, I cant really hate on him because he gave us a full season and was deservedly a legend for us playing in the best team in England and Wales last season.

Whether he originally wanted to be here or not, he gave his all and wore our shirt well.

Thus I probably will now give him some applause and at the same time I hope he has a stinker today

I don't blame him for leaving. But, I do blame him for the way he did it. He wanted to play with costa and hazard instead of Albrighton and okazaki. Fair enough. But he could've done a lot better job of smoothing his way out.

As for clapping or booing. I say, if you pay for the ticket, than you have the right to do what ever you want. As long as people don't go overboard it is fine by me.

For me its a simple one. Do i feel we would have won the league last season without Kante? My own feeling is 'no', so for that reason alone he will always carry fond memories and no i wouldnt abuse the bloke.

Clap i think...i know he jumped ship at first chance but he was an integral part of what happened last year and for me was the best cm in europe last season, hence why him leaving hurt the team more than any other departure could have. Yes he sneaked off to chelscum but its his life and if he has career goals and wants to be more financially sound then who can really blame him

I expect the degenerates, and some young teenies still to boo, they will think its funny just for the sake of it.

I hope as the crowd expands, and the oppo come out at various points, team walk about, warm ups, and

just before kick-off, that the cheers and applause are far louder, and somewhat longer.

plus appreciative chants of his name in some form or fashion.

something like...

"There is only one ngolo ....Kante..

but we now have 2 called Mendy and Ndidi,

Claudios gone out and upped the ante."...

I dont blame him for going...he was honest before he signed

he was honest and a great profi when playing.

He never hid the fact he would move on, though some city fans missed

a few reports, and hold it against him.

He was never an Allen Clarke, Payet, Adeyboye, Balotelli.

Kante never came, carried or left with baggage. A short time legend, a long time true profi..

His smile and attendance at KP is welcome and an honour...:chant:

To be honest, it's difficult to argue with anything that he says in that article.

I won't be at the game, but I would clap when his name is announced because he was a key element in last season's team, and played a vital part in City winning the Prem. Nothing's ever going to change that.

Mind you, I hope Ndidi and Mendy play him off the park today!

There's no decorum is there. And we are a champion club, so the distinction is confusing.

Well said - I agree with every word.

It is tinpot to boo so I'm hoping that doesn't happen, he deserves appreciation for what he did last season.

I will be applauding him, because he in my opinion is the best player we ever had

No they don't have the finances to match realistically. Yes a lot of money but prob not viable to pay as Chelsea would.

Plus Chelsea is a bigger and more successful club than ours, fact. He is currently heading for another Prem title. I think he made the right move...

Yes I would have liked him here for one more season but it wasn't to be. We've accepted it and moved on (well, most of us anyway)

What? Conte has won three league titles including an unbeaten season in less time as a manager, Ranieri's won one (amazing) title. Ranieri never won a title at any of the top Italian clubs he managed whereas Conte did it in his first season at Juventus.

Yes but not the PL title.

Not with teams considered incapable.

Only with top quality players running through his squads.....

Klopp is the only manager, I believe who has managed teams outside considered top 5 sides in

Relevant leagues, where/when plying their services.
