Any pantomime booing will be cringeworthy.

He was one of the Immortals and as such I will applaud him before and after the match.

...and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke, according to Kingy.

Indeed.

Kanté is a living Leicester legend (despite making only 1 season for the club) and fully deserve claps at KP tomorrow.

The way he left really sucked yes he was a quality player we gave him his platform we plucked him from French obscurity league and gave him his chance then his filthy money mined little knobhead of an agent saw the pound signs and persuaded him to fook us over big time !!

of course people will boo him why it's their choice butbive spoke to some they would rather turn their backs on him but me I'll just see how I feel on the day !

players come and go but our glorious English Champion winning side will always be here !!

I will 100% be giving Kante a round of applause/standing ovation prior to the game. The bitterness towards him is petty and small minded, he gave his everything for a season and has moved onto bigger and better things, it happens. During the game he is just a Chelsea player and should receive the same treatment as any other visiting player.

Told Claudio he'd stay another season while at the 'same time' talking to Jose et al on the phone.

Is that fact? I imagine his agent was on the phone. It's not like a player to change his mind with an offer he couldn't refuse now is it.

If anyone boos a bloke who was instrumental in the clubs' biggest ever feat, then please take a long, hard look at yourself.

Sadly, the type that do this sort of thing aren't known for their thoughtful introspection.

So so sad that someone that contributed so much will end up being booed.

Petty. Fickle. Negative. Everything that's wrong about this club.

I'll hate to see him play against us, but continuing to boo is just bitterness.

We should save our breath to cheer our own players.

No way will I be booing Kante. Absolute class footballer, Leicester legend forever for that 1 magical season. Won't even be able to boo Terry (banned) or Costa (dropped) so it looks like, as usual, the ref will get my vitriol.

Applause. He was sensational for us in our most successful season in our history.

The circumstances in which he left us really sucks but I'll feel a lot better when Ndidi puts him in his pocket!

It will be very embarrassing if there are boos for him. If any other smaller club won the league and booed a player that left, the people that want to boo Kante would call them tinpot and ungrateful.

I'm trying not to get sucked into the debate, but it's so tempting.

Last season stood for so much. It was no money vs financial giants, the minnows vs the rest of the pond, David vs Goliath. And we won.

The season was so seductive for other football fans, basically everyone outside of the fanbase of the big 4, because it showed that money DOESN'T matter. That reputation ISN'T important. We triumphed against the odds and showed that football isn't a game that is won and lost on the strength of a few quid and a solid brand identity.

And then Kante left. He left the unfashionable Premier League champions, with guarantees of the Champions League football. He left a team that had just won arguably the biggest domestic trophy in the world. He left...for what?

He left for a club that, twenty years ago, were a middling to poor top flight team. He left for the modern brand identity and a few extra sheckles in his pocket (sheckles we would have paid, it's worth mentioning.) He took everything that was wonderful and refreshing and wholesome and heartening about the title win and showed us exactly what he thought of it. That all the good stuff that matters to us doesn't matter to him.

Brand Identity > anything else.

He took the magic and made sure that we knew what he thought of it, that it wasn't as important as playing for the 'big boys'.

**** that.
