Will you boo or clap towards N'Golo Kanté when he returns to the KP next week?

Cheering Kante is one level of mugginess but if you're planning on cheering Hazard as well you might as well go and sit in the away end with the rest of your kind.

Major crumpet material.

Our SQUAD WON US the League not Eden Hazard with one shot.

Did i say Hazard won us the league pal?! lol

I'm not from the sky tv brigade that says he won us the league.

He played a part in the story though so i'm going to salute him. Whats the problem with that?!

It was a tongue in cheek comment anyway!

Basically yes, yes you did. Why else would you applaud Eden Hazard?

Kante's decision to move was the highest example of everything that's wrong with the modern game. People are only thinking of clapping because he's the only one who left. If half the squad had pissed off in the summer it wouldn't even have entered their minds.

I'll give him a cheer. Although, if Ndidi snaps him in half then I may crack a smile.

This amused be, exactly how I feel. For me Kante is a club legend which makes it impossible for me to boo him but I'd love our new signing to show he'll be an adequate replacement.

No I didn't.

I'd applaud Eden Hazard to show my appreciation for that goal in that game at Stamford Bridge - the night we were confirmed Champions. Simple as that.

I know full well who won us the league!

Actually I'm going to Boo because he was the only one that left. I'm not going but hopefully the KP can hear me from 7 miles away.

And before the PC brigade start stating the bleedin obvious, yes I did and do love him and will always remember with a smile what he did in a city shirt. But that's over and the next game is the next game. I'm telling you, the boos will be loud and clear.

We won the league by 10 points ffs. Hazard didn't win us the league.

If it was at the start of the year I would have booed, mainly out of disappointment and because it was still raw. However, the longer the season has gone on its clear he made the right decision, although would have been nice for him to stay for our CL campaign.

We should respect what he achieved him so him some (minor) appreciation then he will probably get a few boos

Im sure in 20 years time when they have a winning title team reunion he'll get plently of cheers

Lets hope we dont boo and then give a standing ovation for his MOTM performance against us

I know Hazard didn't win us the league - I didn't say Hazard won us the league!

Leicester City won the league over the distance.

However Hazard's magical goal is part of the story so i'm going to applaud him - just a bit of light hearted banter/part of the panto, call it what you want - don't get why it winds people up so much?! lol

I think when people say his goal won us the league it takes away the great thing that the lads achieved.

You should Google the 'Kübler-Ross model'. You're at 3. Put your big-boy pants on and move to stage 5.

I can see both sides of the argument, I want to appreciate what he did but plenty aren't happy that he went as soon as a decent offer came his way. I reckon applause before the game then ignoring him and focusing on our team is the way forward.

Applauding Hazard isn't right. Craig Dawson scored a vital goal to help us the week before, why didn't we clap him?

The self-righteousness about Kanté is in overdrive.  I would have loved nothing more than for him to have stayed with us.  I was deeply disappointed when he left.  I do not resent him for it, though.  As far as I am aware, he did not mislead anyone.  He had a buy-out clause in his contract, which Chelsea met.  He is perfectly entitled to change jobs, as we all are, be it for better money or whatever.  If he had slagged the club off in the media or broken one of our player's legs, it would be different.

I hope players behave honourably (they often do not) and will praise those who stick with us, but I am not going to boo or slate the player without whom my club would not have won the PL.

I just won't do either! I won't boo him because he was an exceptional player for us who contributed massively to us winning the title, and i won't clap him because he chose to leave when we were at are highest and did not want to give us one more season to see what could have happened!

Because I'm sure all of you would applaud Schlupp when he leaves for West Brom.

What an odd comment.

I'm pretty sure Jeffrey would get a warm welcome when he comes back to the KP, he played an albeit minimal part in our title win, has been here for years and must have over 100 appearances for the club, not to mention no one would be anywhere near as bitter about him leaving as they were Kante. I dunno if you've ever been to a game when a player is returning to the KP but they nearly always get a good round of applause unless and the player in question normally reciprocates it. Unless they've done something to piss us off, Jeffrey may have the technical and mental attributes of Pub player at times in my opinion but still would have no problem giving him a decent reception on his return.

I might be making this up but I'm sure even Gallagher got a clap.
