Claudio's comments regarding transfers

Recommended Posts

Just heard on a transfer report on talk-shite and allegedly Claudio is reported to have said " Don't worry if we don't sign any new players before the window shuts as he believes in the players he has??"

well im glad he's not worried as week in week out it shows most of the squad just aren't up too or are not bothered with the task ahead of them??

it is worrying when reporters come out with those type of comments and I know you have to take some talk-Shite comments with a ton Of salt but can we honestly see us doing any better with what we have already ??

Definition of brinkmanship

  1. :  the art or practice of pushing a dangerous situation or confrontation to the limit of safety especially to force a desired outcome

.....and both sides, the seller and buyer are doing this.

Why don't  people understand how deals in any walk of life are done?

We're in desperate need of at least 2 defenders. I really don't think we will escape relegation with our current back line. If we sign no-one else this window, I can't see us staying up. Maybe Amartey and Ndidi turn out to be good defenders, but then we're short in midfield.

"Claudio, will you be worried if you don't sign anymore players before the end of the transfer window?"

"Yes, because as you can see my existing players are hopeless, and we are doomed to immediate relegation......"

Give the man some respect. Yes we're disappointed, yes we should have signed defensive cover, but absolutely no need to start hurling abuse at the man.

I question he's maybe lost the players.

He's slowly losing fans with these comments.

He is on the brink of having a untenable position if we don't sign anyone and don't rapidly improve. I'm sorry and that feels very horrible saying that after last season but this can't go on.

Rudkin already has an untenable position, why he's still here god only knows. Fuck off.

So pissed off right now.

Most these posters have clearly never brought a house or 2nd hand car. What do they want him to say? "Yes we absolutely desperate for a center back and right back and will pay any price on transfer fees and wages".

(Just joking BTW, I know he is doing the best he can. The only problem is that his best this season is not enough)

Ranieri Is more than aware of the realties and shortcomings of his squad. It's just that he has the responsibility and needs to be more diplomatic than the many keyboard warriors on Foxestalk. Makes me smile that anyone tapping away on his keyboard I his bedroom thinks they knows more than a Premier League Manager.

I'll remind you of your post when he's been kicked out on his ar*e within the next four games.

I'm baffled by Ranieri's attitude at times. He should be demanding these transfers are done and questioning why they are not. Far too relaxed and complacent for my liking.

He seems totally blinkered about the way we are playing and what is wrong at the football club. Look at Hull, signing players with ease what is our problem 20th richest team in the world and defending premier league champions?
