soulsister Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Right hand man last season. Cant remember last time I saw him and Claudio having a conflab on the touch line, has he been moved side wards?
Fox92 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Nobody has been moved. But Shakespeare (and Stowell) are certainly less vocal than they used to be.

lgfualol Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Maybe he doesn't have a clue either. He looked clueless when we were struggling under Pearson as well. I remember saying this back then as well.
HybridFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Being a good number 2 doesn't always make you a good manager. (Although wouldn't rule it out. Look at Paul Clement) But if the players aren't taking Ranieri seriously, then why would Shakespeare be any better? If anything, they'd be even more laid back with him due to the longetivity. I think a fresh outlook and a new character is what's needed to really give the players a kick up the backside.
norwichfox Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 Ranieri seems to me to be an out and out loner, I think he see everything that happens on the pitch as "all my own work" and doesn't welcome "interference" from others, god knows, he needs some help and advice. CS knows the players better than CR I just wish they would work together on the sidelines/in the dugout.
sdb Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 Definitely feel like he's visibly keeping distance from CR on the sidelines more at the moment.

oxtonfox Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 Mick Stowell took the reins over after Paulo Sousa didn't he. I would imagine it would be him and Shakey double act till end of season if Mr Ranieri parted company with the club. We certainly need some fresh impetus but I am not sure an S-S partnership would be too different from what goes on now for the players. However subtle changes sometimes reveal different results. I'd like to see Shakey step forward off the bench sometimes and talk to Claudio - it creates a much better impression to the players and supporters especially when action is needed; but Shakeys a shrewd guy and I think he knows exactly what to do.

The players should know there jobs it doesn't take shakey to talk to claudio to let them see that. Most haven't got the heart to much dosh going in thier accounts each week to give a ****
stillwater Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 They all seemed to be talking before the extra time against derby nobody hiding there

I thought the same at the time that we were clueless then and players didn't give a damn - remember Beckford at Peterborough not bothering to run up for a corner when we were losing with minutes to go. Not sure what Shakey did then but it took a while to stop the rot..

crazyleicester Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 Lets get the old fishing rod out and see what idiotic people I can get on side with my unfounded post!!! Lets face it, something is seriously wrong because Shakespere isnt smiling as much as usual. Oh hold on, no one is because we arent winning football matches!!! There must be a rift between them and I reckon Claudios grand son boned Shakeys neice. Its obvious
Thracian Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 When I look at how poorly we approach corners and free-kicks I really don't give a toss what any of our coaches have to say.
