Countryfox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Mahrez. Complete lightweight passenger and not the type of player you want for a scrap.
lcfcdamo Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Hard choice there are so many but 2 me has to be Morgan i watched him and he out of all the defence today was the one every time hitting it long
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Way too difficult to choose only one.

Needs to play the 10 role if he plays, you cannot accommodate his lack of effort on the wing. Probably got some poxy relegation buy out and will be happy to go down.
Koke Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Surely Huth is worse than Morgan? Both are bad but Huth is a liability these days.
Countryfox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Just now, ZeGuy said: You'll cry when he's gone. The smallest of our problems right now. Not saying I want him gone ... just dropped .... when did he last tackle someone ??? We need fighters right now.
CosbehFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Vardy. Our most impressive domestic results this season were without him and that's with this bomb scare of a defence as well. The players seemingly don't aimlessly whack the ball away, the opposition don't play as deep and we appear more balanced. West Ham at home, Palace at home, Stoke away (for the majority), Everton in the Cup all come to mind where we've looked better as an unit.

At one point he had 3 Swansea players around him and he looked to Simpson for help to overlap but Simpson just stood there picking his nose. I feel a bit sorry for Mahrez at times.

AKCJ Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Drinkwater. Comfortably the most out of form player in the League.

I know what you mean. Thing is, you can't expect it from him. That's just not how he works. I'm all for a drop for the two next games. Noticed he made more of an impact when he's subbed on. But that's a risk. Even when he's shit and he was more than a couple of times, he still make at least two defenders busy. are we in a sitation where we could afford to drop him? I wonder.

He can't even stay with his man at set pieces. He should also never be captain he's no leader of men more a follower.

Fvck I have missed some great games.
dannythefox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 So we're shipping in goals and people want Vardy dropped. Deluded.
crazyleicester Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I really dont know why Wes gets it so much in here. I thought defensively he was OK today but as usual he was shite on the ball with his distribution. If I am going to be critical of the defence it would be that neither centre half is remotely interested in carrying out the ball and even the midfielders, usually Drinky who drop back to pick it up usually go back to Kasper to hoof it. Its so poor. Anyway, Vardy for me. I get form comes and goes, I get he needs to play, I get he was amazing last season but he is one of the weaker willed players we have. He cant control himself. Im sick to death of seeing the idiot get a camera zoom in on him and for him to punch his own head. Wow, what a hard man nutter he is. Get him off the pitch as he is not putting the effort in. Its embarrassing that if Okazaki plays, he out runs him but what looks like 3 yards to 1. Gray started more forward today again again Vardy was cruising around. Get him off as he is offering bugger all. BTW, I wish you gave me more than one option.
Koke Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Do you guys think Amartey did enough when he came on to start ahead of Simpson?
smr Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Morgan, Because as well as him being Championship level you've got to make a statement to the players - by dropping the captain you're showing that you mean business and no player is bigger than the current mess we are in.

I think everyone can honestly say that was a freak - they are the only side (other than Swansea) who left acres and acres of space behind their back four, Vardy could expose that. Every other team is literally playing 10 yards deeper than before. We've gotta counter act on that rather than keep ignoring it. The harsh realities of the defence is that there are only two replacements what look up to it; Benny and Chilly. We ain't gonna be able to fix the defence issue easily. The other redeeming feature is that when we take the lead in the league, we win games. That says two things; 1) our defence and midfield concentrate more with tracking and marking 2) opposition become less patience and start playing more direct which suits our defence who are happy to defend aerial crosses.

We've scored three goals in the last 8 league games. Oddly all three goals came without Vardy on the pitch. Now with all the will in the world, you ain't gonna get a clean sheet every game. Goals win you games.
