Max Wall Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Facile to only pick one of the current bunch.
esoog Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Voted Huth. Unfair because I would select the lot. Huth and Morgan whenever the ball gets passed to their feet its panic central
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Wes. If I see the tit launch another long ball to literally nobody, I'm going to pick up said ball and insert it where the sun don't shine. Wes has turned from Captain Marvel to Captain Mannering in less than one season.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I voted Huth, for me he's worse than Morgan, who I think will be better with a more mobile partner. Mahrez was close, he's practically a passager at the moment, particularly away, he's not one for the fight, but we all know what he can do, although it is far less frequently now (if ever) but I live in hope.

Oddly all three goals came without Vardy on the pitch. Now with all the will in the world, you ain't gonna get a clean sheet every game. Goals win you games. If you don't concede you don't lose Huth needs to be dropped not Vardy. How many chances has he missed? Not many. Blame the players that can't get the ball to him.

I feel a bit sorry for Mahrez at times. For the first time, I felt like he was absolutely fed up. I think he's quite the introverted guy and I sometimes feel really sad when I read people thinking he doesn't give a damn. Knowing his story and from where he came from, there is just no way you can say he's not interested. I read for a couple of days that he still go to Ranieri an ask him what can he do to improve himself and help the team. That's not someone who doesn't give a damn. I don't see him as one of the future greats though. He lacks the mental strenght, discipline and ambition to achieve this. I think he just wants to play football and have fun on the pitch. That's Riyad for you. His first touch is actually, in my opinion, the absolute best in the world though. I'd love to see him live just for that. Killing a 50 yards pass dead like it was nothing.

Charl91 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I actually went for Drinkwater. Before today, I would've gone for one of the CB's. But I don't think I've ever seen such a cowardly performance. In fact, I don't think I've ever use the word cowardly to describe a players performance before, but that's what it was. People complain about the hoofing from the back. Granted, it's absolutely terrible. But I felt like the CB's tried a little harder not to hoof the ball up today. However, every time they passed it to Drinkwater, he'd turn around and pass it straight back again.

As I have said, it's not necessarily an issue with Vardy's performances. It's about acting upon how teams are setting up against us. When drinky and Albrighton receive the ball with Vardy on the pitch, their first thought is hoof. Our defence could hit 50/50 passes last season and Vardy would utilise a back peddling defence. That doesn't happen anymore, defences play deep and he doesn't have the talent to use movement to feign defenders into mistakes.

It's not there first thought or it shouldn't be anyway it's ranieris tactics that's how he's told them to play. It's terrible.

Either way teams are playing deeper when Vardy plays, that can't not be denied.
Pasturesfox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Schmeical sounds off about trouble in the camp last week back tracks this week chucks the ball out to a Swansea player and doesnt stop the resulting shot
AyewJoking Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 drinkwater is doing fúck all at the minute. abandoned accurate forward passing and spends his time trying and often failing to do the dirty work. i have sympathy for him and vardy, ranieri and his fellow team mates are leaving them with too much to do and nothing ever changes. fúck the players, fúck ranieri and fúck you too vichai. come out and say you are ok with getting relegated cos thats what it fúcking looks like.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Morgan Would prove Ranieri really does have bollocks by dropping his captain who hasn't performed anything like a captain should since the start of the season But that would never happen of course
Dan Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I just cannot vote. Out of our XI today I'd say Schmeichel, Gray and Ndidi are the only ones who deserve to start, and Mahrez probably because he still looks like he can whip something up from nothing. I actually think I'd go with Drinkwater. He was our best player before he got that suspension at Watford. Since then I'd say he's been our worst.
5waller5 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Vardy or Fuchs first, then Morgan or Huth a close 3rd
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 No exaggeration but you could drop 5/6 players easily from the team Vardy Huth Morgan Fuchs Drinky for a starters all disgusting that they are picking up wages let alone the stupid amounts they are on

Tuna Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Is it just me or is Wes carrying a bit more weight than last season? I'd happily drop Huth, Fuchs, Morgan, Drinkwater, Vardy, Simpson and Albrighton and be delighted if none of them played for the club again for a long time.
EastAnglianFox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Drinkwater for me, but obviously numerous candidates. Just irks me to see his screwed up mardy face from minute one throwing his arms in the air blaming every fvcker apart from himself. Note to Drinky "You ain't that good lad"
