President Trump & the USA

Recommended Posts

It is becoming more and more apparent that every time he makes a speech, Trump is more concerned about himself, than he is about the American people, and America itself. His transparent lack of tact and fact, oozes from his naivety, over the most simplistic issues. This guy is definitely a dangerous moron. God help America!

His base are like a bunch of preteen/teen girls at a justin bieber  concert. Heads stuck up their arses oblvious to all and in awe at the biebs. Clearly very flexible ostriches.

Trump's comments about the forthcoming midterms aren't all that surprising IMO. Has to rally his base and fear is a key part of that, after all.

That being said, does he remember the last time people who wanted the right to view and treat other people as subhuman got involved in a fight in the US? It didn't end well for them.

Oh, and now apparently the State Department are refusing passport renewals to some Texan US citizens on account that their birth certificates might actually be fake and you weren't actually born here.

Guess what skin colour all of these Texans are?

Got a link for this? I've not seen it mentioned.

Looks like Trump's hard line on Iran isn't quite having the effect hoped for....

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/iran-builds-new-missile-factory-in-syria-under-russian-defence-shield-70g5g8j78

"Iran is building a missile factory in Syria under the cover of a Russian defence umbrella and is sending ballistic missiles to its allies in Iraq, according to reports that have raised fears of an expanding confrontation with Israel. Satellite images showed what appeared to be a base and factory taking shape in northwest Syria near the town of Baniyas. It is in an area covered by a Russian S-400 aerial defence system set up to protect Moscow’s operations in the Syrian civil war, which would make it a tricky target for an Israeli airstrike".

To be fair, the soft approach would have led to the same thing. Iran aren't bothered who is American president.

Mixed feelings on the Pakistan funding news: I mean the US are pretty much spot on when they say Pakistan haven't done enough to get their house in order, but then giving morally questionable regimes in that respect (and in others) that just happen to be useful to them cold hard cash hasn't really been a problem for the US either before or right now, so this isn't exactly a sudden attack of conscience so much as just another bit of geopolitical dick waving IMO.

(As is the Palestianian withdrawal, but then the reasons for that are even more obvious that way).

You just never know what he'll do next, a bit like rolling a dice to see what comes up. I'm still waiting to see the glass wall appear, between the States and Mexico.

He's a disgusting, narcissistic individual who really isn't fit for power however he hasn't started an illegal war as of yet, it makes me squirm watching people talk about the Obama's and Bush's being like best friends, sharing sweets and what not at John McCain's funeral. They have thousands, if not millions of consequential deaths on their hands.
