Has to rally his base and fear is a key part of that, after all. That being said, does he remember the last time people who wanted the right to view and treat other people as subhuman got involved in a fight in the US? It didn't end well for them. leicsmac Posted 2 September 2018 Share Posted 2 September 2018 Mixed feelings on the Pakistan funding news: I mean the US are pretty much spot on when they say Pakistan haven't done enough to get their house in order, but then giving morally questionable regimes in that respect (and in others) that just happen to be useful to them cold hard cash hasn't really been a problem for the US either before or right now, so this isn't exactly a sudden attack of conscience so much as just another bit of geopolitical dick waving IMO.
