What do you actually want? Nobody has laughed the policy off, Dianne Abbott's been laughed off for having no idea of what she was supposed to be saying. Isn't she only in the cabinet because Corbyn nobbed her ages ago anyway?

I guess this is where Labour have shot themselves in the foot. Corbyn with a competent front bench may compete but Abbott and John McLenin is a stomach churning thought for even the centre-leftie.

There is that, and she's a close ally/comrade of his with her being an MP for a NorthEast London constituency. I've actually been quite surprised and impressed with how Corbyn has done so far in the past couple of weeks. The challenge was always going to be wheeling out Diane Abbott though.

Apparently she has quite a good understanding of home policy although I've yet to hear it. Andy Burnham was the origianl Home Sec on Corbyns front bench but he resigned to focus on becoming mayor of Greater Manchester and after the coup there was no one else to fill the post really.

Strokes Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I'm still dubious £771 million over four years is enough. It still sits at little over £30,000 per head per year. Are the training, uniforms, vehicles, recruitment and administration costs included? Doubtful.

She's managed to make Natalie Bennett actually look competent when it comes to costed policy. Listen and weep here..... https://order-order.com/2017/05/02/diane-abbott-police-numbers-car-crash/ F**k me - she sounds like an 8 year old just making stuff up and blurting out the first thing That pops into her head

His gardener must empty it out way out of sight, probably at the bottom of the garden
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 God just listened to Dianne Abbott again. It really was like Peter Russo on House of Cards drunk on the radio.
