Mahrez licking Chelsea arse like quite a few on here

like I say they stole Kante and now stole our title !

I hate Chelsea and Mahrez behaviour is disgusting

he is basically saying we are not a real club !

Chelsea are NO bigger than us ... the Russian made them a sucessful club by pumping a billion pounds into them !

Horrible club , horrible owner , horrible club captain

it was only 25 years ago half their ground was a car park !!!

i hope their defence is as destabilised as ours was ... in part caused by them !

Sell Marhez this summer and dump that other Algerian dummy with him

Spit on the Chelsea tonight

Stole. Stole. Stole.

Go look the word up :)

You think he meant it as a swipe at us ??  It was for Man City's benefit.

Just to clear things out, yes the translation is "real club" but he means "amazing club", its just a language thing (I think)

lol I'd deleted that from my memory. Thanks for that.

One thing about him though, get him off penalties. That's at least 5 missed now.

?that level of stupidity should never be forgotten!

Poor trolling. Too obvious.

One fact I don’t see pointed out: The desire to sell Mahrez outside the PL is in direct opposition to the desire to get a huge fee.

The only other clubs in the world with “big five” revenue are Barca, Real, Bayern and PSG.  End of list.  Which of them would move Mahrez immediately into first their eleven?

Some really miserable bellends here.

If he goes for less than £40M i will let anyone of you shag my bird till the end of the next season.

Can you post a photo so we can all work out if it's worth storing this quite or not ?

No clue how this players/agents stuff works on the inside.  But I’m pretty sure the owners are nobody’s fools.  So do they really need to sell Mahrez?  They showed last year they are willing to play hardball.  And there is no remotely realistic price that they or the club need

When this season’s turnover is toted up LCFC will bump up near the top fifteen clubs in the world.  Even a 40 (?) mill one-time spiff does not compare with staying at a level to dine on European gravy year on year.

It’s better business for them even to overpay for midfield upgrades which would allow Riyad more inputs, space and outlets, than to sell him at the bottom of his market value.

As well as 40 mill could be reinvested, it’s no more likely to produce a player of the year than for Riyad to regain that stature.  He is a fragile player, but not a born sandbagger.  Whatever club, LCFC included, that can put him in a spot to regain confidence, they may well have last year’s player.

I can't agree with you here mate.

You know as well as I do that a player like Mahrez only comes along once in a generation for a club like us.

He's stated recently that he's been frustrated being double/triple man marked at times this season and other teams have done a good job at stifling his creativity.

I know it looks like he's not putting the effort in sometimes, but he's the one player we have who can change a game with a moment of magic.

I really can't believe you and some others want him gone. When we're struggling for goals and assists in the future we'll be crying out for a player like Mahrez in the team.

P.S. We don't need the money so I wouldn't sell him at any price...

I wouldn't read too much into that "trolling vid". Slim clearly gives Mahrez the news about Chelsea being champions, Riyad probably already knows that, anyway it was expected to happen, so his comments are like, yeah, they are a great team, it's a great club. It's not like Chelsea crest is suddenly showing in his eyes, it's just a pretty random lukewarm response to Slims words and a fair assessment of Chelsea's power this season. I dont think there's much more to it

His first touch is fine, it's his second touch that let us down today...

I don't want him to score penalties with his second touch anymore. For some reason they just doesn't count :/

...come to think of it, I don't want Mahrez to take any penos anymore, tey should leave that to Vards a season ago

For all the people that constantly blow smoke up Mahrez arse and say how good he is on here and say how much we will miss him when he goes,

For the season on whoscored.com he is rated the 115th best player in the league with with a total score of 6.91 from 31 starts and 3 sub appearances

6  goals (3 pens)  and 3 assists, lets not let last seasons performance cloud this years judgement

1 goal and 1 assist every 10 games from open play

Are you saying that you think he's not capable of getting back to the same level as last season ever again for us then?

I remember Hazard struggled the season after he won the PFA POTY award but he's been back to his best again this season.

Form is temporary, class is permanent and all that...

I honestly think a top club would be mad to pay big money for him after the season he has had.

Sound so like the perfect time

tk

be trying to get him, to me ! Why wait until he's on fire again next season?

I've absolutely no idea what all those numbers means and quite frankly I couldn't give a rats ass about statistics.

I remember the days where you judged a player with your own eyes and intuition rather than a spreadsheet.

Next time a player' gets me out of my seat' I'd better just check his stats to see if that's allowed....

u asked a question about form, comparing him and Hazard based on one season is madness.

Hazard performed over multiples seasons
