Hi have you guys got any early impressions of sam hughes noticed he has scored a couple recently just wondering what you think. Personally think you have got yourselves a bargain obviously its a huge step up for him but ive got no doubt he will play first team with you ( before jan be nice we could do with the add ons money ha ha)

He wouldn’t get in our first team if he looked like the next Maldini mate so I wouldn’t hold your breath for that money! 

 

On a serious note he and Thomas have settled in very well and it’s nice to see invertments in the dev squad doing well.

 

id go as far as saying they’re making other players look better than they are

Ha ha well hopefully he will get a chance at some point he has had a good grounding with us its not easy being a young  kid playing center half in the national league with some of the experienced big brutes sides have but he always looked a class above. It will be nothing more than he deserves if makes it top lad great work ethic were missing him badly this season to be honest but at least our youth team are still flying in fa youth cup hopefully to repeat last years run....just dont pinch anymore of our kids just yet were going to need them

Real credit to you guys to have an academy that people are pinching from. As shitty as it feels it’s something to hold on to.

 

Especially given the catchment area and the youth sides these kids could choose to play for.  

 

Hope you  guys manage to turn things round this season

Cheers im sure we will with new manager things looking better . Its the problem of being a fan owned club we really do survive on developing youngsters but with Merseyside and Manchester half hour away it not easy but parents know that they will get opportunities and not get lost in some massive youth set-up. Since were fan owned we just set up a crowd funder thing to try give the new manager 30000 to spend on new players in jan. Any lads you got that need toughening up we will take on loan

I think it would take one to get to promoted for it to happen, can't see a fan take over of a top flight club these days.

AFC Wimbledon are probably the best chance, but still a long way off.

Watched the U23s against Barnsley the other day, impressive team, Hughes sticks out as one of those with a bit more about him. Just watched first half at Oakwell and Harvey Barnes had a good half without having very much time on the ball, intelligent play and always looking to make something happen.

Would be great to see but extremely unlikely. Personally don't even like the word owner for someone that takes over a club. They are basically custodians. How can someone own something with so much history and fans that were there long before and will be there after the club changes hands.

absolute howler from Swansea's keeper gives us a 1-0 lead.

Bramley with a long free-kick up, Muskwe loops a header on and should be a simple catch but it drops through the keeper's hands and bounces in.

Mines just given up entirely now lol 

 

Oh well can't complain too much it is free.... do think it would make more sense for them to host on youtube though to avoid it clashing with normal website traffic.

Fun first half. Great quality pic and sound for me.

 

Enjoyed listening to Guppy too.

 

The 2 full backs have looked really decent for us - not that they've had to defend much, but looked good going forward. 

 

Double barrelled kid has put in a couple of good corners and FKs.

 

Assist for Bramley the GK!

 

Red Card was a good call.
