Its a very fair point you make.......but 'someone' at Cov could obviously see 'something' in Thomas that our recruitment team couldn't.

How many Leicester lads do Cov take that that turn out to not make it ? A lot more than you think

They take ours , Villa , WBA etc casts off's and law of averages says one or two will make it

There are a couple more Leicester lads that are well thought of at Cov so this discussion still has plenty of legs

Watching the Highlights to the u23 team v Hertha Berlin we have some real talent coming through the Ranks, young George Thomas not only knows how to find the back of the net but his deliveries from corners and set pieces are sublime real quality !

Hughes Muskwe & Johnson Took their chances well and score 3 cracking goals at the KP, certainly won’t be long before some of them get first team action if they continue to improve the way they are some really impressive performances from all the highlights on LCFC Tv a great free service for the fans.

I am sure that all of them will have a great career in the lower Leagues just like some many ex-Academy players. :D

He’s got the Vardy cast! Hopefully he can defend and isn’t just successful at youth level because he’s huge. Maguire and him would be some pairing.

Don't care how old he is, how good he is, whether he can play, if he is injured or not just get him in the team.  In fact, I think we should pick our team purely in height order. :)  Let's just send out 11 heaving, clenching, towering, Huth-dwarfing giants. X

The club misspelled Sherif's name on his shirt, that's a bit embarrassing.

didn't have high hopes for the game as Bramley had a huge mare his last few games, but sounds like he was pretty much MOTM with 6 saves lol

Great great that the lads are developing.

What were the 'few' games that this huge mate occurred in? I don't follow them as well as I should

Bramley, Hughes and Knight were outstanding, with a second half barrage from Carlisle they were dominant.  The full backs were OK, but did let Carlisle cross far too much.  Midfield and attack were generally so-so, but Gordon and Ndukwu did look lively in the first half.  Choudhury is a bit of an enigma, occasionally spraying wonderful passes and getting good tackles in, but often looking really dozy.  We particularly missed the absentees playing with the International U20 and U21 teams (Thomas, Johnson and Pascanu) - hopefully they'll be back for Morecambe (which we need to win well, to qualify)

This was a good performance against a near full strength, physically strong, League 2 team.

The games always seem to occur during the international breaks but suppose they're coming to a close soon.
