He's awful and makes Stringer look good. The amount of errors he makes during commentary is frightening. The most annoying one was when Nacho came on for his debut - he'd had about 5 touches while the commentator was sprouting some crap and then all of a sudden he was like "and that's his first touch for the club" really annoyed me at the time. Also was getting Mussa and Ndid mixed up constantly in another game...

Pascanu has found himself 1v1/1v2 a lot of times but dealt with the threats comfortably. Needs to improve on the ball though.

 

Moore looked comfortable alongside Huth but what CB wouldn't. Looks like he has a good positional sense to be fair.

 

A year out on loan to league 1 would be good for them. On the other hand Amartey isn't a RB & Benalouane is awful. Why not promote these 2 lads to the first team squad? The worst that can happen is they don't make an impact in the cup & we have to sign a defender in January.

Well, that was bloody awful. Lets hope we dont need any of these lads anytime soon - or anytime ever. As for Huths 'runout', I'll get more exercise at walking football tomorrow. And the final insult? I logged in to watch on lcfc tv, stream didnt work so I watched on MUTV via Mobdro. 2 hours wasted, a typical monday for me. Over and out.

I quite enjoyed it and the LCFC stream worked great for me.

 

Thought Choudhury was good always hassling their players and winning a lot of balls. 

Ndukwu seemed to have a decent cross/pass on him.

Moore looks like he'll develop into a very good CB.

Pascanu made a few mistakes but looked a better RB than Simpson ()

Wood was okay at LB

Iverson had no chance of stopping the goal and otherwise played well.

 

Their goalscoring LB skinned Thomas so many times in the first half and that free Kick was messi-like.

TBH, the lack of stream is probably down to my 5hite internet. And the mobdro stream was iffy, so I missed quite a lot. Mad, works in France, dont work in Winchester, oh well, one of the very few disadvantages living in the South.

Didn't work  in Oz either. Some video at about 5 frames per second, then hung after a few mins. Refreshing the page went back to start at about 73 mins into the match. Shame.

Underwhelmed from what I watched...which was about two thirds. Nothing whatsoever against any of our staff but when kids of that age and ability are scoring "nil" there's got to be more inspiration, cunning and inventiveness to the exercise. It all looked a bit stale and predictable to me...which is the last thing I'd  expect at the beginning of a season.

one of the worst games i have ever watched neither side could control the ball or past the ball to a support player, 90% was kick and chase the rest was over the side line. there is no stars in that lot, think the coaches need to have a long hard look at themselves.

United were that bad too ? 

 

Most U23 games I have seen are dull pass pass pass pass pass with no real intensity to win the ball back. 

 

How did hith look ?
