Great with the dead ball and will only improve. The others...don't know much about them tbh.

AKCJ Posted 3 July 2017 Posted 3 July 2017 I'd be happy to sign Lucas Perez or Kelechi Iheanacho for the Okazaki role in behind Vardy. Neither are especially creative but our creativity comes from our wingers. That would change if/when Mahrez is sold without a replacement ofc.

Perez is definitely a shout - we should be all over that. We were linked last Summer too.

At least the club can say they tried and they showed ambition. Unlike last summer, when we had our biggest chance of signing genuine quality and we ended up signing nobody of any note. I'd still be interested to know why last summers transfer dealings were so poor. Did the owners not give Claudio enough money to sign top players? Or were Claudio and his team not able to identify/persuade top players to join the club. Or did Claudio just show to much faith in the players he already had? I guess we'll never know. But we don't want to make the same mistakes this year. We need quality over quantity and Maguire was a good start. Gibson, sigurdsson and iheanacho and id be very happy.

Shame we let him go, understandable at the time of course but we could probably do with him now as an option. Sigurdsson would be a top choice. I've heard a lot about Ziyech. Hamsik.
