We might be pleasantly surprised what Marc can do on his 'correct' side. He'll be like Beckham in his pomp, whipping them in for Slimdeeney to head.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Pione Sisto - although of course it would perhaps be a stretch although i'd argue more chance of this than Perisic
Scotch Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Said it before, would like to see Matty Phillips here. Not a glamour signing but he's a grafter who has similar stats to Albrighton. Most certainly within our grasp too.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 Adama Traore from MiddlesbroughHis 2016/17 Premier League stats: 0 goals, 1 assist. We'd be treated to a heck of a gun show with Traore and Appleton on the payroll though.
enmac Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 Ben Arfa! I love RM but this guy is the business. In the same class as Keith Weller IMO.Sent from my Fusion5_108 (16GB) using Tapatalk
Albert Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 Step forward.....Demi Gray Give this lad game time and the opportunity for him to learn the position & nurture the undoubted talent he has (without the fans getting on his back after any mistake) and we've got a superstar on our hands. With Mahrez leaving this is his time to step up and prove his talent.

enmac Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 Someone who can play on the wing- Samir Nasri! We need creativity with RM going. Plus he must be cheap after the red card. Still prefer Ben Arfa though.Sent from my Fusion5_108 (16GB) using Tapatalk
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 Gabigol wants to leave inter, best replacement imo.
DatfoxesKid23 Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 I think we should put albrighton at RM and play gray at LM in the pre season tournament if it doesn't work out then we buy a winger
foxoffderby Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 I wouldn't buy a winger even if Mahrez leaves. Stick with MA and DG as the main wingers give young Lawrence a chance use chilwell as back up. Sign one in January if we're desperate or have injuries.
hatasi Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 If Mahrez leaves we have to sign Michail Antonio from West ham.. he can play left or right winger

He's a very capable performer who keeps stepping up and seems like the sort of character who would fit in well here. The trouble is, he's one of West Ham's better performers and we'd have to pay well over the odds for him.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 5 July 2017 Posted 5 July 2017 2 hours ago, hatasi said: If Mahrez leaves we have to sign Michail Antonio from West ham.. he can play left or right winger Well said, his attitude would fit here really well - problem is West Ham know how good of a player they've got so i can't see him coming to us. Whoever said Matty Phillips as well - great shout, quite underrated in the Premier League. Outside shot - Ryan Frasier? Done remarkably well at Bournemouth, quite under the radar still - and theres a bit of competition over there for the wing positions, Gradel wants to leave as he can't get a look in (not that i'm recommending we sign him back may i add, too much uncertainty now )
Rich77 Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Defo Phillips and with Albrighton and gray and hopefully Lawrence can make an impact all grafters, not the same skill set of mahrez but a better fit for our club
kingfox Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 A bid for Tadic would be good or Mohamed Elyounoussi - 10 goals, 13 assists for Basel last season.
HoustonFox Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Don't forget Barnes in the mix as a winger. Also, this assumes we play 442 still. 4321 doesn't need true wingers, neither do 433, 343, 532/352. I personally think we will stick to 4411 to start with but with a 4231 option.
Danno Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Matt Phillips and Ryan Frasier as a replacement for Mahrez, how depressing.
matty98 Posted 9 July 2017 Posted 9 July 2017 What's Lamela up to these days, think he'd be worth a punt

wasthedestroyer Posted 11 July 2017 Posted 11 July 2017 Oxlade-Chamberlain anyone? If we sign KI it might draw other players to LCFC.
