If Sherrock was a bit more consistent in her scoring she'd be dynamite. You can't go 180, 45, 180, 24, 180, 26 and expect to win.

 

Her check outs have been superb though.

Dobey said he wanted to play Sherrock to test his mental strength, difficult start but once he settled he showed his class, once he went 3-2 ahead the match was done.

 

Plenty of 180's for Fallon and some nice checkouts but her level dropped too much.

 

All the talk will be about Fallon but Chris Dobey deserves some recognition, the guy is a class act on and off the oche.

Dobey looks a very assured player, good technique and good at trebles. A bit of work on his doubles and he can be a top player. Really looking forward to Anderson against Aspinall later.

Me too on the Aspinall game,i think Asspinall will have a bit too much for Ando,but hope Ando wins!

Glad Sherrock is out to be honest. Nothing against her but her games were becoming a bit of a circus with the crowd etc.

I like Aspinall but have had a flutter on Anderson to win the whole thing so a bit mixed about it.

Gerwyn Price finally turned up tonight, top performance. Durrant wasn't at his best either.

 

Wright vs Price tomorrow could be a real cracker. Aspinall can also give MVG a good run for his money. Looking forward to tomorrow night!
